Are there any special rules at La Cygne? I thought i read something about wearing lifejackets at all times?- Club T- What would you have done?
Dam it eatnsleepfishing! > I just got one of them flutter spoons and was throwing it at docks last weekend and had one nail it.... thought i find a new tactic... I had been fishing that area with a crank and jerkbait for a while before started in with the spoon....- KC Lakes
huskertko sorry to hear you've not been out much - hopefully your wife is right and you'll be able to get out more next year. Anyone caught any smallmouth out at kill creek? Went out there today and caught a few largemouths. First time out there and thought it was a pretty neat lake.- KC Lakes
Not sure what it weighed. I keep forgetting to buy some scales... normally I just measure them... but didn't on that one. I don't think it was quite 3lbs, but not sure. Might have been around or a little over 18" give or take...- Looking to buy a Bass boat in the Spring
I'd suggest buying a used boat over a new boat for your first boat. Could you imagine buying a new z-7 and realizing it's not quite big enough and needing to sell it in a year or two? You can find good deals... just got to be patient!- KC Lakes
I fished a lot at Shawnee Mission last year from the bank and always had a good time. This year I got a boat and didn't catch many fish off the places I did on the bank, but I also spent a lot of time back in the coves or arms... I've not been out there much lately cause I'm tired of it being an electric only lake Here is my best at SMP from this year....(i know it's nothing worth braging about!)- Which Lucky craft shallow crankbait
RC 1.5 doesn't work very good- KC Lakes
I'm thinking about hitting Gardner Lake on Sat. What time do you think the best fishing would occur? Morning or late afternoon? Have the bass started going deep or are they going to be shallow? Last weekend at Clinton the water temp was mid to upper 50's...- KC Lakes
Ringfry - I think I'll be checking out Smithville and Lone Star soon - might be tough now with the weather cooling down - have to find them deep I guess.... Skunked - I was out at Lake Olathe a couple weeks ago and they had drained some water out of the lake and all the shoreline grass was completely out of water by several feet. Gardner Lake has been good to me so far... many bass and wipers or white bass killing spinners, lipless cranks, and top water the past couple months... Anyone else in BassResource.com land fishing around KC?- Stratos 186xt
I've got a 97 Xpress H56 with 115 yam - runs real strong. Plenty of space for tackle and rods. Found it last spring and I'm so glad I didn't buy anything else - looked at stratos and trackers - would have had a bigger payment and not a better boat! I would def look at a used boat over new - much better deals to be had.- Who is your favorite bass fishing TV celebrity?
Joe Thomas - Reel in the Outdoors Jimmy Houston Bob Izumi - Real Fishing Mark Zuna - WGFS Thank God for DVR's- Square billed shallow runners
I like the RC 1.5's as well. But the price makes me think twice about using them all the time. I like the Fat DT3 and the Normans - but for me they are not quite as productive as the RC 1.5 - maybe just a mental deal though...- KC Lakes
Anyone been fishing any? Hit Clinton Lake for the 1st time Sunday for a little bit - but only got a drum. Threw DT10, spinnerbait, jig, even a spoon. Found a ton of shad in the back of a cove but couldn't find the bass. Water temp was upper 50's. Mainlake water was alright, but following the Rock Creek was pretty muddy. Anyone have some suggestions? Also looking for someone that might be interested in teaming up and figuring out some different lakes around here - Hillsdale, Clinton, and others... ;D- Overnight freezing temps
I think trimming it down and checking the lower unit oil to make sure there is no water in there and you should be fine... I guess you could wrap the motor with blankets like they do with sprinkler systems... ;D- Bass Jig by Bass X?
HAHAHA! You don't want to have to pay up on 1 of each color and size.... Lots of options! Just have them send you some in colors you think would be productive...- Bass Jig by Bass X?
I don't think any other shops carry them. They are a great jig!!! Remind me of the Eakins jig... but better. Ask for Nick Gann. He can custom make anything you want - tell him Bryan Hayes sent you... Nick is at (479) 271-8118 He can ship them to you no problem! ;D- curado e series e5 and e7 (2008)*****
I've got an e7 and love it.... try: www.mikesprobassgear.com ;D- Cavitron Buzzbaits giveaways have been shipped.
Bobby - Got the package yesterday! I honestly believe they are the best buzzbaits on the market and the only ones I have confidence in. I'll post pics on my next bass caught on the Cavitron after the weekend! For the record - I've got a lot of bass and 2 bluegill on Cavitron Buzzbaits! ;D Thanks again!!- ITS BUZZBAIT TIME_ I'm in the giving mood again-
Email sent, thanks!! Bryan Hayes ;D- One bait, one month!
Texas rigged zoom finesse worm, sorry can't share the color though... ;D- Lowrance x-96
I've got one on the bow. It's nice and has a good picture, but it doesn't really do anything special. It's worth the price.- Jackall Mikey sr. shallow swimbait, T-rig bring some insight
Just got a Mikey Jr. And plan to throw it around tomorrow. Did anyone find out any tips? Would it be a good bait to wake in the morning? Thanks!- NEW curado 200E7 question
