His podcast has grown my love for the sport more than anything outside of the actual events themselves. The way he showcases how great and personal the anglers are on his podcast is fantastic. I get it though, half the fans hate Milliken. Some people are more polarizing than others.

Imagine having to fish a lake not in Texas 😢 This is a derby where you literally start making plans to either move or take a trip to Fork. The pressure on Fork was already pegged, but after this it's going to be insane. The amount of 6-9lb fish in this place is insane.

Dave Mercer is the MVP of BASS......dude makes me enjoy the events so much more.

Sucks we can't get real time coverage or Basstrakk of Milliken. These should be his two best derbies of the year.

Mckinney's last fish was likely a 4.4 not a 4.5.......right when they took the fish off the scale it flipped back down to 4.4. This is the problem I have with catch weigh release. 106 scales, 106 people operating them.

BASS needs to showcase more anglers like Matty Wong, Milliken, etc. who are willing to talk to the camera and more importantly not be so secretive with the baits and way they use them. Many of us are here to learn not just be entertained, Matty does a great job sharing the love.

The biggest Bass caught in Texas by a Lady Angler was a 16lb+ fish in 1999 on Lake Fork caught while CATFISHING 🤣 eta

Ivie is already a couple years into an accelerating downturn, but TWP director believes it's because the lake levels are falling again. He does have concerns about the scoping of DD sized fish on Ivie because of the depths and number of those fish killed from barotrauma but doesn't make a case one way or the other from lack of data to this date.

I don't expect a number of the guys in the top 10 to hold there after tomorrow. There's hope still for this derby not to be scope fest, day 3 and 4 will be shallow days, and I bet shallow plays tomorrow. The beauty of this truly professional sport is that the competitors are humble human beings, 80-90% of the guys are just like me and everybody else in this thread. No other sport has more relatable competitors than the Elite Series imho. I want almost every one of them to realize their dream, a dream I only wish I had the tamales and talent to pursue.

Contrary to what BASS's cams are showing, this lake is putting on an absolute show this morning. 34lb bag, two DDs, many other mega bags, sadly none on camera.

BASS can't help but shoot themselves in the foot.....how in the world do you not put a camera in the boat with the most popular angler on your tour.

People are really drawn into the professional side of the sport right now because of FFS imho. There's never been a time like this in Bass fishing, there is a ton of angst among the die hard Bass community, fans are trying to figure out the future of the sport. I know I am. Another dump truck load of dirt on MLF's grave as well lol.

There is nothing more the sport needs than a Jon Cox win. If you love Bass fishing, Jon Cox should be number one in your heart imho. ETA: They seem to be bed fishing in 55d waters. ETA2: Lol at Fujita out there in the great wide open

I got Walters, but I could see Milliken or Fujita winning.....impossible pick in the first tier of anglers. Feeling great about the bottom of the lineup though. Last week I'm sure Welcher will be in the bottom basket.
