I don't have any really heavy lures the biggest I got right now is a zara spook for bass but anyway it seems that I can cast heavier things with very little brake and from what yall are sayin yall have trouble with heavy more than light I think. but I just can't throw much under 1/4 oz spinner with my abu.

I only OWN 1 Rod thats a medium action baitcaster but I USE up to 3 other rods I is sixteen so I use my dads old stuff which really isn't outdated I use a lite Ugly Stik spinning rod, and 2 medium Spinning rods I have a 9' mh rod for anything from muskey to catfish to carp to just about anything I figure even though it's only a mh holy crap It's pushin 2 inches in diameter at the base-talk about pool stik ;D

Where I fish I do catch some fish on a T-rigged lizard instead of C-rigged but I don't catch as many as I do with senkos although most times I catch less but bigger fish with the lizards but all I got is 5" watermelon seed they are strike king floating but I use em weighted I only got em cause they was on sale for .50/bag of 5 or 4 or something at walmart ;D

This is not always true if you rig it wacky and put the hook through twiced it will stay on for a good while. I have gone all day catching several fish with the same senko.

I don't measure mine I just set it to where I can fairly easily pull it out then I tighten it just a tad this works just fine have not lost a fish due to bad drag setting.

Yep I agree 3# is great I just got back from Cowans Gap Lake I was fishin off shore and caught a new PB 19" 4# largemouth from shore . At first I thought I was tight too. Then she started movin. Sorry no pics that I can post I didn't have a digital camera alls I had was disposable.

I agree 100% the only time I use real worms is when I feel like havin fun with little stuff like panfish and fallfish.

I don't generally weigh fish I measure them so that puts me around10''with the biggest being 15" it was a smallie out of my home crick. Smallest uh I just guestamate hte smaller one so probably around 3-4" although most are around the 9-11" range

I do exactly the same thing but sometimes the line gets tight and wrapped around itself and becomes a sort of knot then you have to pick them out. To do this you just have to look and think about it and pull all the right things to get them out most of the time.

That ain't no pirhana I think thats a tiger fish or somethin like that. I have seen them before on this website where someone thought it was a pirhana also however T-rig told them it was a tiger fish or somethin along those lines.

I like Heddons Zara spook. I t is good for smallies and largemouth among other thing have seen people catch walleye on them also. The only problem is they are kind of heavy to cast I forget exact weight though. You can also work it just about any way you want to. On the package it shows one of the better ways to work it. Also Jitterbugs are good I have had success on medium sized black or white ones. There is different ways to work these too but you'll just have to learn what the fish want.

Any one pour their own plastics? Just wonderin cause I need some advice about how to go about meltin and repouring senkos I got a mold in mind but I don't know if it will work right. Also where is it cheapest to buy more plastic that is not yet molded. And what knd of plastic should I get? All advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have exactly the same proble. I have a buddy that rarely gets tight on anything so he just goes along and starts throwin cranks in thick weed. The I tried it needless to say after the first cast was the last cast.

I understand what you mean about selecting the smaller ones and not killin then just for fun but if I was gonna kill a fish like that had that much meat on it the only thing goin to waste would probably be the bones and head I would at least try to cook it and make a meal out of it. So therefore just like withh any other fish or game that I kill(except varmints) I would be eating.

I know I'm a catch heck for this one but I would look at ugly stiks. I got a light action ugly stick that I use for bass if you want you can ask moby, but I get a better hookset thatn him and he won't go any lower than a tourney special mh I was thinkin 'bout gettin a mh ugly stick and puttin an Abu Garcia Baitcaster on it. I already have one Garcia baitcaster but two excellent reels never hurts.

Your eyes better be brown cause you are full of chit senko s are one of the best baits ever made at least for in central PA when nothin else works I can generally count on a senko rigged wacky.
