i aint sure what it is just yet bein that i havent investigated for a while but i believe that it is an old coal stove in one of the better fishing hole around here so far i only lost a midnight special spinnerbait on it. which means i am going to find out what it is as soon as the waters warm enough to swim in.

Have you ever had any success with the Rebel Wee-R I just got one but haven't been able to use it yet it's brown crawdad. Anyway it would have to be Perch colored Rapala Jointed Shad Rap.

How are you supposed to get the hook out of a fishes throat without hurting/killing it or cutting the hook. I know your not supposed to cut the hook so I try not to. I also know that there was another thread on here about this last year but I can't find it now and I forget how to.

Well I don't fish rivers for smallies but I fish abig crick and prespawn generally spinnerbaits work well, Spawn tubes and other large things worked slow, then the rest of the summer I use senkos mainly, then I use any kind of plastics till I find what they like. I rarely use crankbaits at all mainly because I don't have much luck with them in the winter I use Jigs and some tubes T-rigged worked real slow every now and then I'll tie on a crankbait and play around a little but that usually don't last to long. I would actually rather use jerk-baits over cranks too. So I'd go with soft baits.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, around here there are a lot of dumb people but they aren't book dumb they're just common sense stupid past the point of no return and in my mind it's because of too much education.

What are you tryin to say are you sayin that the next generation is so stupid that we don't know anything.Ha yeah right I'm just kiddin but yall older people(20 is older to me so don't draw conclusions) should try takin some of them dang tests that they give us in school now a days. We gotta know metric standard and some classes have to know kelvin. We gotta know how to read all kindsa gauges and crap and we gotta be able to look at a sentence and tell exactly what is wrong with it whether it be fragmented or missin a comma or a phrase of somethin is misplaced. It'd make just about anyone's head spin and I am just getting started on the list. I could probably fill this page and several others with the crap I have had to learn over the past 11 years-yeah 11 years in school actually 12 if you count kindergarten. So we ain't dumbing down we are just gettin dragged down by all the crap that they want to try to teach us while wasting my time that I could be spendin in the crick. And I go to a little school compared to some of the others in this country(high schools)

Yep today kinda sucked it was nice weather and all but the fish just weren't biting. I had a few hits too but nothin to show for em. Hey you can't give up summer's comin and the days are gettin longer and we all know what that means 8-)It can only get better

I agree with mobydick also I do really hate cathcing fallfish when I'm targeting bass. But now if I'm just out with my cousins I'll take 'em to the local hole that is mostly rock bass and fallfish, then I don't have a problem with them. But the kind of fish I really hate catching are the big ones taht got away 'cause no one believes you I also don't like them big wooden fish that have a tendency to eat lures and plastics like nothin especially the ones that are too deep to see where it is or too deep to get too.

okay, one of my buddies has been making jigs and he gave me three to try for free and he gave one of my other buddies three to try. The problem arises as he hands the jigs to the other person, the question is how the heck do I use these things. Well I explained to him what I could but I don't use them that much ayway but from my understanding most of the way you work them is variable to conditions and time of day and year. Also color and hair and rubber skirted jigs have their differences too. Water clarity and how fast or slow you work 'em. Is this just me or is this one of them baitcaster moments where it just takes some time to get the hang of it but once you do you'll never forget how?

My average is around 1-1.5 I'd say. Most are between 10 and 15. Biggest this year was 19" out of Cowans Gap.

Which is why I have no tolerance for people who do drugs. That's too hard. Its easier to steal from people who have a job and work hard. Besides, most of these guys probably have rap sheets that prevent them from getting a good job. Recently we had four guys arrested for stripping unused offices in a mill in which they worked for whatever metal they could find. Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage and destruction. Talk about trusted employees I agree about the too hard to get a job but even if they can't and I really hate to say this but there is welfare and it don't sem like anyone else hesitates to use it anymore so why don't criminals do it. Or better yet they could just get themselves caught then they would at least get 3 hot meals a day in prison and that would be easier no everyone nah wait I got an even better idea they need to all be arrested and once they are then we need to get em all in a chain gang and make em walk down along all the rivers, cricks, lakes, ponds and any other bodies of water that have garbage around them and they should be made to pick every last piece up then they can count that as community service even though I think that they should never be left out anyway but I'm sure they would have to be so even if they do got rapsheets they can still get a job and be of some asset to society.

Who? I don't watch much Nascar. I've tuned in to races in the past to watch OW guys to see how they're doing. Obviously Tony Stewart is always a kick to watch. Mr. Lunkhead himself, Robby Gordon. and now, that Jaun Carlos guy..... ;D JPM was a hoot to watch in F1. He was one of the very few guys that would ever put a wheel to Herr Schumacher. When he came over from F1 as a test guy for Williams and joined Chip Ganassi's race team I thought of him as something of an F1 p***k. Then I watched his in-car camera when he was running some his first ovals in CART. He didn't seem to get it at first but man, did he have some of the fastest hands as far as car control I've ever seen. If he hangs around long enough he'll definitely win some races besides the road courses. He is a very good driver. Capable of beating anyone in Nascar. Tony Stewart gets on my nerves all he does is whine and ball about loosin :'(

Don't like, won't use em. I rather have any color (almost) senko over them junky chunks of lead, wire and other stuff ;D. I don't really like any spinners that much ecept inline for trout but that's it cause I have only had a few fish on spinners, but I can catch 10 in under half an hour on a decent day with the right color senko. That being said SENKO all the way

glad your ok. my mom was in a wreck 2 years ago and it was totally not her fault at all but were told that she was at fault thank god alls she got was a mild dose of whiplash.

I know how to tie an improved clinch knot but iit generally takes me about a minute and it confuses me so I tie palomar knots. They are faster, much less confusing, and stronger. it only takes me about 20 seconds to tie one of these until my fingers get cold then it takes me a tad bit longer. If you wanna learn how to tie palomar knot I could explain it to ya or you could just search fishing knots on Yahoo because most of them sights have graphics which help a lot thats how I learned to tie them I saw a buddy doing it but didn't understand it so I searched fishing knots because I knew what the name of the knot was this really helped me out it takes some ime to get started and get really good at it it took me most of 2 weeks to get fast at it. hope this helps.

I saw the first half of it on tuesday or wednesday or whenever the premier was I never really liked the guy much either but that movie can give anyone a deeper liking for him. I also agree with whoever said that Jr. had a big heavy burden and it got smaller/or bigger (depending on how you look at it) when he left DEI. At least he's racin for a team that has some potential other than DEI.
