Anyone know of any light wire, belly weighted EWGs that come in a 1/0 or #1 size? The only ones I've found are the ones linked below and they do work pretty well after bending the point out a bit. Would like to find some in a #1 if possible. If anyone is aware of any, please let me know. Unless you're looking to throw feathers, I'd go with the 1 power. I have the 691 and it will still cast down to 3-3.5g. A TRD by itself weighs about 4g, so I'd go with the 1 power.

Seeing @casts_by_fly comment reminded me - I'm selling a Falcon Cara Dragger 1 on the flea market at the moment that could do all these things. Falcon rates it a heavy (3/8-1oz) but it's more along the lines of most manufacturers' medium heavies. It's in really good shape. I think I'm asking $125 for it, would have to go back and double check. Feel free to PM if you want to discuss more

Yeah I've seen their BFS rods. I'm not looking for anything that whippy. I'd like to have just a smidgen of power 😂

Anyone used this? I'm looking at it as a BFS option. It's rated 1/16-3/8. If you've fished one, can it truly cast that low? Or at least down to ~1/8. They've also got one in the Helium line that's a fast action. I kinda wanted the mod fast though to help with casting. If you have any input on this one or the Helium I'd love to hear it
