I recently got a 6'9" Cashion Element jerkbait/topwater rod - I'm enjoying it as a budget rod. Found myself one day throwing a Mavrik, X-Nanahan, Giant Dog X and IMA Skimmer with it. Quite like how it worked - good length for me at least (opposite of tall).

Thank gawd these NE Ohio bass are turning on...

I meant the 1.5 and 2.5 ATVs - I don't have any 1.0s

I like both sizes of the ATV. I also like both sizes of the original Hybrid Hunter (don't have any of the 'shallow' versions). Was playing today with an OG Deep Tiny 7 in the Green Gizzard, was easy to pull free of grass - looked great in the water too, but no takers!

I had two Greenfish bluegills arrive today - I'm keen to throw them. I tend to throw a lot of Nichols.

Took me a while today, but managed a couple on a finesse jerkbait. Soon... Soon... Also - threw a t-rig 5" senko and was letting it soak while I tied something else on. Went to start working it back, felt the mush, and thought "Hmm..." This little beast sucked my bullet weight in and was not keen to give it back.

I bought a bunch and also had fun throwing at little river pike. Just retrieve them slower so they don't propeller - just a fun, goofy little walk Agreed - I throw the G Dash, Slide 170 and both Swimmer sizes. And I like the 2" and 3" 2Ways. Aw heck, I have a whole tote of Raid soft plastics (Battle Hog, Buggy Craw, Egu Bug and Chunk, etc). Had fun with the Libero for crappie, and am looking forward to throwing the Zariganist.

When I returned to the US and got into bass fishing (as an adult), I kept a journal to keep track of what I was doing, location, lures, conditions, etc. Bank fishing. I logged 63 hours at 5 locations before I caught my first fish - a bullhead

There was a brief moment that I came across stock of them on minor sale - my wallet jumped out of my hands and emptied itself. The action is great slow, fast, 180s, cool little fish

The GDash is a phenomenal lure IMO - and I thought I bought all the Gachi Gill ones I've had fun fishing them here in OH

I've had great days with those when nothing else was working I have had some success with the Rapala Twichins - mullet and minnow, and also Iike the Yo-Zuris I give them a fan cast or two right after my spooks go quiet. I also have a patience problem :)

I had a hawk come down talons forward thinking about taking my dog - my 'pup' being a 6 year old pitty/bullmastiff cross. Hawk pulled up about maybe 15 feet from her. A rare nearsighted hawk perhaps... Puppy didn't even notice
