St croix glass vs expride glass
I am also trying to decide on weather to get a graphite or glass rod. I’m looking for an all around rod, something that will hopefully cover all of the vast majority of my crankbaits

St croix glass vs expride glass
I’m currently deciding between getting the st croix legend glass 7”4, or the expride b glass 7”2. The st croix rod is easier to get and a little less expensive, but the expride seems better balanced. This would be a dedicated all crankbait setup, and I know most people use that expride model for chatterbaits, so I’m not sure how it would compare to the st croix with crankbaits

Japan Tackle
I am trying to buy a shimano bantam 22 from tackle Japan, but it doesn’t have a photo of the reel. I am wondering if anyone has experience ordering from them and if they are legit and the reels are in good condition

line rating
Will do!

line rating
Thanks, I have been looking at reels like the tranX, lexa, and toro beast. Those all have relatively high drag settings, so I wont need to set mine even close to the max. The absolute heaviest swimbait I would throw is 5 oz, with most of them being between 7/8 and 3.75 oz. I would use the setup 60% for bass, and a little bit of pike and musky fishing.

line rating
I am thinking about getting a 7´9 dobyns champion xp swimbait rod, and I was planning to throw 50 lb braid on it until I saw the line rating capped it at 30 lbs. Is the line rating just a suggestion for the assumed technique, or will the rod actually wear out faster if I go above the line rating.

Correct line type
Thanks for all the suggestions. I have not bought the rod yet, and I have heard that medium power and moderate action is better on a 7 foot 2 rod for what I am using for than medium heavy and fast. I have also heard that 7 foot 3 works slightly better. Which one would you recommend for what I will be using it for

Correct line type
Thanks! I will go with mono

Correct line type
I have a shimano curado dc 151, and a medium heavy 7 foot 2 mojo bass rod. I would primarily use the setup for cranking, some jerk baits, some hard and soft plastic swim baits, and maybe some weighted senko rigs. I will also use it for some topwater applications. I am wondering if I should go towards mono or fluoro.

Overfished pond
My friend bet me that I couldn’t catch anything out of a spot that he occasionally goes to. It is overfished, and the bass there are pretty small (3 pounds max) and have seen plenty of lures and bait. Does anyone has any suggestions

Mojo Bass Rod Type
Thanks a lot!

Mojo Bass Rod Type
Thanks! That is exactly what I was hoping for. Would it also work for weighted plastic swimbaits, and hard plastic swimbaits/glide baits thanks a lot

Mojo Bass Rod Type
Thanks for all the help. The model number is JOC72MHMF My camera is not working, but under the mojo bass logo on the rod it says finesse carbon cranker
