  1. Living on the Bend this is a awesome topic for me been reading it through trying to find tips to up my deep water and structure fishing and finding game. I hold my own fishing shallow water say 10 feet or less but deeper then that and finding structure and travel routes is my weak link. Catt, I could use some advice about a point that's in San Miguel just past the San Miguel park headed towards Rebbicas gas station. The hook and line map shows the channel runs right up to it, and speaking of maps where can I find a map that shows more changes in elevation then the hook and line map. Thank you for any advice you could give me on this subject.
  2. Give Mid Lake Marine a call he is in Toledo Town just before the bridge on the north side of the road coming from Toledo town. Me and my dad do business with him on our outboard and trolling motors, he does good work and prices are fair as well.
  3. I say go to Toledo Bend there is a reason it was ranked as the nation's top bass lake two years in a row and that's because it produces so many ten pound plus bass a year. I think the count is like 35 so far this season and if you catch one over ten pounds youget a free replica when it gets officially weighted, tag and released alive back to the lake. Hope this info helps you sir, and if you do hit the Bend drop me a line we can hookup and try to both catch us one over ten pounds.
  4. Over the last two weeks I have got all my bass in two to five foot of water useing either 3/8 ounce white and chartreuse spinnerbait with large gold willow and small silver Colorado blade, and same colored zman chatter baits with gold blade. Also got my two biggest bass so far this year on a man made brush top with a black with red flake ribbit frog and then two days later same brush top with a white and chartreuse ribbit frog. Caught a few small bass each day with zoom lizards and baby brush hogs, colors used were, pumkin, watermelon seed, watermelon red, black with blue tail, black with red flake, junebug, junebug red, and blue saffire, trig on all colors and shapes. Haven't caught a single fish with cranks at all.
