ok ya i dont have the dial the sx has the dial. do i take side plate off on the left side of the reel not where the crank handle is right?

Just wondering if there is something i half to take apart to get to. To make my revo S cast like my SX? Is there anything i can do inside the reel? I thought i read somewhere that you could adjust something inside?

you want a slow gear ratio for cranking in my opinion a 5.2.1 speed is really good for cranking.

the LC Pointers are by far the best out there but as said they cost $15.

Cumara is what i would go with. Those shimano rods are nice i have 3.

well my biggest concern is abrasion i guess im afraid of loosing cranks do to it hitting rocks. i check my line frequently but still afraid of it braking.

how does the david fritts reel cast out of the box without adjusting the brakes?

So i been thinking about switching to a florocarbon line for cranking next year. Just wondering if i did switch from using Triline Big Game in 10 lb test how would it benefit me to switch? And what brands are good. Was thinking about trying P Line do they make a good florocarbon line?

So i fish a lot of east Tn lakes which are full of smallies but have just started trying to catch them on jigs. I have been catching some on hair jigs but they are really light jigs like 1/8 ounce jigs with hair and some rubber skirt. Just wondering what jigs everyone elses uses for smallies?
