I need some info on cleaning reels. Like should i take them apart and add some oil or what should i do in the winter months to get them to stay smooth and keep them clean? What kind of oil works best? Anyone have any pics showing things to do?

i use black and blue in darker colored water mostly at night but i use more natural colors in the day time.

i have been using the Red Eye Shad. They seem to be good i bought a 3/4 ounce today in sexy shad.

how loose should you set the drag i mean should it give some on the hook set?

Just wondering if all flipping sticks are heavy? I bought a Shimano a while back and it just seems heavy as far as the weight goes i was just wondering is all of them fairly heavy. I understand that this is a big rod with it being 7'6 but just wondering if some are heavier than others?

do you ever think the fish see the braid like when flipping?

i tried the way you said to set it up micro and it worked good gonna try it again tomorrow i think it should be fine now

Just wondering who has the David Fritts Reel that Bass Pro sells. I have one that was made by Bass Pro that David Fritts designed years ago but the new black one that has been out for a couple years now was just wondering if anyone has this and what they think about it for cranking? It is rated a 4.5 out of about 25 voters on BP.

I have just got into these Revo SX. Now for some reason i can setup my Revo SX's to cast a Crankbait and the reel has a tendency to get loose line during the cast and wants to backlash. Now i have the Revo S's and they dont seem to do that. Is there something im doing wrong. Im no rookie on Baitcasters i just started getting into the Revo's but cant understand what needs to be done i can set the brake on the left side to max and it will still do it. I set the knob on the right so that the crankbait will fall slowly but it will still kinda back lash. What can i do to make this stop. Any ideas?

actually i have just got into crank baits heavy the last few weeks thanks to a friend of mine. I didnt catch very many on them myself until he showed me some things. Just stick with it and try new places.

Fall=Crankbaits,Topwater,Spinnerbaits Winter=Float N Fly,Float N Fly, and well Float N Fly

i like anything shad colored and some chartruesse.
