i had heard once that someone said that on a full moon crawdad's turn a greenish color during a full moon and was wondering if it would be wise to switch to a jig with some green in it.

I have a question on full moon's. I know the full moon is coming up and i have a tourny Friday night. Just wondering what color plastics and jigs is best to throw on a full moon. Do i throw natural colors or throw the stuff i regular throw at night like dark colors or do i need to switch to more greens and watermelon's? Someone please help!!!!

So you always here people using black jitter bugs and dark plastics and jigs and even black spinner baits for night time bass fishing but why dont you ever here anyone say anything about using black crank baits for night time fishing. If they hit black spinnerbaits and plastics why wouldnt they hit a black crankbait?

Im picking up a Shimano Cumara 7'2 M (CUSDX72M) next week off of a guy for $100 bucks "killer deal". What do you guys think do you think this would be a good rod for light jigs i throw a lot of 3/16 ounce and 1/8 ounce jigs for smallies and largemouth although they have trailers so that probably adds a little weight to them. I cant pass this deal up for a Cumara i have one already in a casting but this one is a spinning was thinking this would be perfect for light jigs and small Texas Rigged plastics. What do you guys think?

Just thought i would see what everyone thought im looking at getting a new rod for jigs. If you had the choice out of these three which would you go with in a spinning rod. Either a Shimano Cumara, Carrot Stick, or a G Loomis G3? What is your opinion. I pretty much am buying the cumara it is used so im going to buy it off of a friend. But which out of these three would you choose. Now these are smaller jigs around 3/16 ounce. And then adding a chunck trailer.

Well to start off i would like to start making my own jigs. But i dont really know where to start there is a store that sells the jig heads that i could get and the skirt material but what is the key to these skirts is it tieing them on or using the collar? Any info would be great.

I seen a while back on the internet and then on TV about this skirt tool where you put your skirt through this tool and then squeeze or something and it comes out with it rigged i dont know the name but it was like black and yellow. Does anyone have any idea what im talking about or where i can get one.

i have been using Triline Big Game for cranking 10lb test. If they would ever come out with that line in a florescent i would never need another brand of line again.

Just wondering what action and length rod you guys use for throwing spinnerbaits. I have been using a 6'6 mh All Star but i have been loosing a lot of fish lately i dont know if it is the rod or they are just not hooking up good. Can anyone shed some light on this. I have thought about getting one of the G Loomis Spinnerbait rods in the 6'3 m. Looking for some info.
