  3. well i realize therer are difernt models available but i heard these rods were not for texas rigs and jigs.
  4. i can only vouch for the SX but it is a nice reel.
  5. Ok can some one please clarify this up. I keep hearing people talk about this being a finese rod? Well i thought these was Cranking Rods. But i watched A Day On The Lake and Boyd Ducket was using it throwing a Jig and then i just seen on Bassmasters that Starks was using one to throw a worm on. What is the deal is this a Finese rod to? Are they that sinsitive i mean i have a Cumara and love it im just wondering if i get a Carrot Stick for a finese rod am i going to like it? So can someone please clarify on this subject.
  6. ya this would probably be strictly a night time spinner bait setup.
  7. these rods are more of a cranking rod than a finese type rod right?
  8. the David Fritts cranking stick is good i have three of them. But the Fenwick Elite Series cranking stick is pretty nice to i havent fished with it but it feels awesome and a good length i think it is 7'3.
  9. My tourny partner just bought some of this and throwed it on a night time spinnerbait setup lastnight. What i liked about it was that it was Florescent. Does anyone have any info on this line i know that it is really stiff at first and probably has to be broke in. Can any of you gvie me some feedback if this is good line or should i go with another type of braid or line for night time spinner bait? Thanks
  10. thanks for the pics those were awesome.
  11. you will like them
  12. Rattle Head Baits. Check there website out. They have a awesome jig.
  13. where can you buy them at?
  14. Just looking to see if some of you can give me some advice on a couple rods. I am looking to see what action you guys throw your spinnerbaits on what length. Also want to know what action and length for you guys that throw a spook. Im thinking a medium probably for both but the spinnerbait will probably be about 6'6 and the spook rod will probably be a 7 footer. Any opinions on this setup and what would work good?
  15. i have one and i love it.
  16. the elite series fenwicks are nice. Just to let you know.
  17. i will agree that braid is probably the best to feel the bite but seems to fray a lot when fishing around a lot of rocks. Which is about all we have here in East Tn.
  18. well i dont think quantum makes junk if that is what you are saying i think shimano is a good company to i just use them for the spinning reels. I like a Quantum and Abu Garcia for a baitcaster.
  19. so here is something for you to think about i called Tackle Warehouse yesterday cause i was gonna order a couple of the reels that were on sale and they was sold out completly so i call and ask when they are going to be getting some more in. And they told me that they would not be getting anymore in that they must be discontinuing that line of reels the PT and the Tour. So my thing is why havent we heard about the new ones? Can anyone shed any light on this?
  20. i wish there was a company that made the dark green color in a florescent. Like the color that Triline Big Game comes in that dark green i wish Triline would make a florescent in that Big Game that would be one good seller.
  21. i wonder why they dropped the prices like this on those tour editions and the PT series. Do you think people are not buying as much with the economy the way it is?
  22. i got three of the Fritts Cranking sticks and i love them.
