the hot pot is what i was thinking about getting i just noticed that you do not half to have a laddle for this. I think it would be good to start out.

i have a qeustion i know i could go down to the local tire shop and probably pick up some old tire weights but why not melt them in your melting pot. I was looking at a very small one from Barlows tackle and was just curious. Also when you pour the lead into the mold how long do you need to let the lead set in the mold before you open the mold to get it out and remove the excess and see how it turned out. i am new to this and just trying to see what is the best way. I am thinking about getting a melting pot and a laddle hopefully spend about 50 bucks on those and then getting a couple molds and trying to find some lead i can use. I want to make the shaky head jigs that have the screw to hold the plastics.

i really dont pay much attention to the moon. But i know a guy that doesnt like to fish when it is a full moon out. He has said that he doesnt do as good. But hey everyone is intitled to there own opinion.

Mann's has one it is the Mann's Baby 1-minus series. Bomber has one that dives 0-3 foot it is called the Square A. And Bass Pro makes a Nitro Super Shallow Crank that dives 0-2 foot and they also have a Extreme Shallow Crank that will dive 0-3 hope this helps you out.

I really think im gonna go with a Tracker. Either the 170 or the 175 I beleive will be good for me. And should be a little easier on gas.

Sometimes i will poke it just through and let it go back in. That way it is ready come out when i set the hook.

I cant figure out how they can hit a bait and not get hooked it amazes me. All those treble hooks and you still will miss some sometimes.
