  1. I've been fishing since I was a kid. I fish from the bank pond fishing. Love bass fishing.
  2. Yeah, I saw where they use Toray blanks, and I think they use Fuji line guides.
  3. Which Rods were they that broke? I'll stay clear of those then lol.
  4. I just got my Ark Gravity 8 reel today. Looks and feels great. I can't wait to try it out. I have been using my Gen 1 and Gen 2 Abu Garcia Revo Premiers for about 14 to 15 years now. The Gen 1 drag is very loose. Back then I didn't know you had to back off the drag when you're not using it it. I got the reel on my discontinued Abu Garcia rod that 7 foot 3 MH Fast action rod. It's the swim jig and jig rod but you can do everything on that. Going to throw weightless Yum Dingers on it. Got 16 lbs of Gamma Edge flurocarbon on it. Maybe I can go fishing next week as we are supposed to have a warming trend leading up to Christmas here in Southern GA. It pays to be a weather need and be a bass fisherman lmao. Just wish I had a boat lol. Have an amazing weekend.
  5. I ordered an Ark Gravity 8 baitcasting reel off their site for 259 with a coupon. Hopefully it will cast far on my Jordan Lee swim jig/jig rod. It's 7 feet 3, so it should launch them lol. I also got 16 lbs of Gamma Edge line, and also 8 lbs with the 12-day Christmas sale they got going.
  6. What size hook and weights would be good to use with these? I thought about putting then on a ned head or a shakey head but also would like to texas rig them. Not sure if my 4/0 fusion and redline hooks be too big maybe my 3/0 be better and a 1/4 weight could be too heavy? Any other help would be great. Maybe also I can fish them weightless if they are heavy enough on my 8lb line or 15lbs braid on my spinning reels. P
  7. You can use these on a EWG hook if you run out or do not have twistlock hooks to help the baits last longer. https://parasiteweights.com/product/parasite-clips/
  8. I like the Owner Twistlock hooks for fluke type baits. You do not have to worry about the bait sliding with it.
