Look something like the Cotton Cordell Gay Blade? There's a bunch of them out there like the one i mention.seems like i'm finding them everywhere. There is however one that caught my eyes on ebay.

I seem to target the bigger fish.So i'm going to do a little swimbaiting. Also going to put my falcon cara rod to good use doing topwater and cranks.Looking to get another rod for this as well. I'm shore bound,but this year i'd like to at least get into a boat somehow. If i start having a lousy year i'll break the jig out.It's my favorite. 8-) Just wish my bass fishing season was longer. :-/

I usually have some wicked ones after a stressful day....Kinda noticed that as time went by.Alot of them i hardly remember.

I want to say a softer bait will come through easier to set the hook better(but with a crappy hook it's pretty pointless).Salt just controls the fall rate of plastic...I have played with making plastic baits and salt is definely an important factor in that.

Don't be afraid to practice out in the back yard with a practice plug.

Ditto on that....to start out learning new to baitcasters i find this line to be the easier to manage at first time.However i like the 14# test. I however have a favorite and that is BPS XPS fluorocarbon line.

I love Christmas lights...My mom used to go all out.You'd think somehow that Jesus being born again right in her front yard.It was awesome,really reminded you what Christmas was all about. Me...i'm too lazy to put em' up and my bills are already high enough on heat and electrical i probably wouldn't be able to afford it right now. I want to however go through this one area where all the houses in some upper class neighborhood decorate the entire area.Takes about 1-2 hours to go through.

I don't know if this is true,but somebody once told me If you fall and know you aren't coming out alive your body goes into a shock like a heart attack and die in the mid fall.

Got the same problem. :-/ On the weekends i sometimes drink myself to sleep...otherwise i'm up till 3-4am and on a weekend i don't wake up till noon. I hate sleeping.

Shimano scorpion 1000 BC reel/cabela's 7' H/fast rod(jigs,kreatures and worming rod) Shimano citica BC/shimano clarus 7' H(use for the same purpose above but to switch out lures faster) Quantum pt500 BC/Falcon cara 6' medium/moderate action(treble lure rod) Sometimes i'll bring the cabela's spinning reel with a cheap abu garcia rod for inline spinners and such.

I use braid with fluoro leaders and never have an issue with line twist. Maybe it's just me? Something that helps alot is manually closing the bail.
