shock absorbing bass boat seats
I recently saw basspros tv show where rick clunn admitted to sitting on a bumper bouy during long tourney runs to help his back and to lift him higher to see better. Made sense to me.. A heck of a lot cheaper too. I agree with Cart, its kinda like getting an F350 and then complaining about gas mileage IMO :-/

Roids...
My father was on Prednisone for arthritis. It did not make him gain weight but it does ruin you liver after extended use. Have your doctors tried Remicaid(sp?) My buddies' went into remision and is still doing great almost 9 years later. It is expensive as hell though. good Luck man. That disease is NO joke

Any opinions on Humminbird fishin buddy series?
At one time BPS had these on sale for $99. For a small boat or canoe I think they are ideal, especially if you are on a budget. They don't have a very high pixel count so you are not going to get a "super" detail of the bottom but it will help you chart depth and contours for sure. they also work well for ice fishing. Any advantage you can get towards figuring out the fish is better than NO advantage. IMO

i hate gambling
Never been a huge fan of gentlemens clubs... Its like watching your neighbor grille a big, juicy Tbone that you paid for from across the fence. You can smell it. You can see it in ALL its glory. Sometimes you can poke it when he goes into the house for another beer. But no matter what, you can't eat it. :-/ Although, sometimes looking at a nice piece of meat makes you all warm and fuzzy inside too. :

2003 Chevy Silverado 1500
I also have an 03 Silverado z71 package. I will NEVER not have a truck, period. the only issues I have had were having all o2 sensors fail around 70k. Truck ran like S*^% when that happened. But, mechanically have never had an issue. I bought mine with 44K and now have 130K. I will drive her till she drops.

What are they eating II ?
Great posts everyone. It amazes me when I am on this site the amount of knowledge that is passed around here. Many people will pay hundreds of dollars to get this information out of books, magazines, etc. I hope we all realize what an invaluable resource we have here. I know I have increased my fishing/boating knowledge tremendously by paying attention while logged onto this site. And, Just as in fishing paying attention is sometimes the key to taking home a check. thanks everyone.

Replacing Boat bunks
I Noticed that I busted two brackets off of my trailer bunks. I was going to replace the brackets but figured it may be time to replace the bunks on both as well. My question is what type of wood is usually used? Marine grade or just treated? I saw that BPS has pre carpeted bunks available but they are too small for my needs. Any links or advise would be great. Thanks in advance

BPS Prowler TM
If its your Trolling motor vibration thats causing the noise you may want ot try this: From Bluewater LED IN STOCK!! "MVD" stands for Motor Vibration Dampener! This revolutionary product was designed to reduce the vibration which in turn causes noise in the water as you use your trolling motor. Note: Package comes with one dampener. Vibration is measured with an Accelerometer. Without the MVD your average Trolling motor puts out 262Hz/G's of sounds, but with the MVD it is reduced/dampened to 228Hz/G's. That makes a huge difference when you are trying to sneak up on them! For an even quieter motor put multiple MVD's on it!

Weird looking jig
Correct! They used to have a jig very similar by Stanley. The line is tied to a small O ring that fits around the hook. I never really understood the benifit to this but I used them fairly frequently and never had issue with them.

Procraft fish/ski opinions wanted.
My 96 Stratos 278 has three seats across, basically bench style. My wife fishes for a bit, lays out for longer, etc. I must say, I have slept many a very comfy nap on those seats. Even once or twice when I ticked, said wife, off and had to cover up for the night. hee hee :

Tricked out Triton
For these LED packages that are available, are they wired directly to the cranking battery or are you using a seperate battery like a mower or motorcycle etc.? I am looking into the trailer package from Bluewater. They look pretty cool

Procraft fish/ski opinions wanted.
Personally, Not a big fan of them. It all depends on what you are looking for. Typically, if you will be fishing more than cruising I would advise against purchasing. FNS have much smaller casting decks as well as limited space for storage etc. They are not really built to handle rough water very well either IMO. If its pleasure you are looking for you are correct, there are some good deals out there.

GYB Fat Ika
Yep, the palm tree is exactly the same bait. Except for the amount of salt added. It will have a bit of a different fall rate vs the IKA. But pretty close.
