Anybody got any of the new megabass colors headed there way? I'm putting together an order, but can't decide on what to get. Guess I just need to get a second job for megabass funds.

Unfortunately, another local tackle shop bit the dust. They did have quite the sale going on, but I was a bit late to the REALLY good stuff.

Agreed, the baitsanity gill is pretty solid and pricewise it's about the same. Definitely worth the few extra bucks. Side note, do you do much with the adhesive weights that come with the baitsanity stuff? Found anything that's a "must"???

Unfortunately for my wallet, all of the Megabass options are good. Karashi, X-80, X-70, Griffon and everything in between...working on putting together another order as we speak. Gotta trim it down a bit.

Scooped a couple of these as well. Went with the dark bluegill and the albino (I think). Excited to give them a go.

Man, I grew up on the north side of the state, but moved out to Madison from Jackson a while back.

It's hit or miss. The other day I swung in there and they had a bunch of random spoons and other stuff that isn't particularly sought after by these Mississippi bass, but don't sleep on Ollie's, they can definitely have some good stuff. I saw what looked like the last of a bunch of packs of owner hooks.

The Ollie's around here get lots of Lucky Craft from time to time. I don't know where they're getting it from, but I've gotten probably 10 jerkbaits/crankbaits for $3-7/each.

Ok, I’ll give it to her, my wife is pretty awesome. got a pretty amazing bfs setup from her. Curado BFS XG 8.2 reel on a megabass levante rod. what’s my best line setup? This is a new world for me. I’ve got on hand some 15lb braid, 10lb flouracarbon (sunline super fc sniper), some 50lb braid and lastly some garbage 6lb mono. Any of that work ok until I can manage to scoop up something else?

Anybody have a BFS set up they'd recommend?

Even a small order is a good order. This showed up yesterday from the copper state sale. couple Huddleston’s, their bellows shad color shadillac and a few missile odds and ends.

Not a ton of clear water down here in MS, but good excuse to test it out and put some of these amazon gift card dollars to work!

Think you talked me into doing the same....put 11 frogs in the cart and saw the whopping $46 price tag and thought "yep, need to do this one."

Snagged up a Whopper Plopper 90, essentially brand new, couldn't have been down there for more than a day or two. By the look of the knots tied to it, unfortunately it was probably a kids lure, so as a former kid, I feel his pain. .....still remember that $5 spinner bait that I got hung up when I was 12....man, that one stung.

Got me again…..jk, but we did get some stuff via birthday gifts and wife was on her game this year. Not pictured : St. Croix Premier Split-Grip Casting Rod with shimano SLX 150hg 7.2 (this was a “just fill up a box with $XXX.xx worth of stuff,” but got some awesome stuff on there.)

Too many good sales going on I guess.....I need some direction. Had a birthday a few days ago, got a few dollars to spend. Where would you put them rod wise? I've been slowly making the trek back to the bass world from fly fishing for 20+ years, so any help anybody wants to send my way, come on with it. (Currently have : Wife got me a St. Croix Premier 7' rod with a Shimano SLX 150hg for my birthday. Love it. Also have a GX2 w/ a Shimano Sedona reel....and a whole bunch of fly rods that are collecting dust...)
