ive never caught a bass on a scumfrog, ive caught fish on horny toads but not on scumfrogs, don't really have any confidence in them because they really dont have any action

is it as simple as going to marine mechanic, and saying you want a bigger carb put in, and they will do it?

yeah i hate the smell too, and then if you leave them on the the hook, and they are exposed to the sun they dry and shrivle up and are hard to get bsck off the hook

with puting the transducer in the water, what i do is get board that is just long as the transom is deep, and attach the transducer to the bottom, and clamp the board to your transom. This is the cheap way but is nice because you take it off when ever you want .

haha that actually happens to me a lot, my home lake doesn't really have any crayfish so the bass' teeth are sharp, sometimes to sharp to thumb them

it depends on what you want to spend, i like lowrance, but eagle has a nice unit that won't drain your wallet

i looked at a 1997 Procraft 17ft today at a dealer, everything looked good, it has a carburated mercury 125 on the back, it looks in good condition. Im not as familiar with the carburated version as i am the EFI, anything i should know about this motor? anybody have any experience with it?

I really don't have any idea, he was just telling me how he is going to have his own fishing show: and i asked about bill dance. Not to discredit Bill Dance as a fisherman, i really don't like watching his show anymore. I like shows that the guys go to public lakes that anyone can go to, and see them actually loose fish and catch smaller fish than 4lbs once in a while.

i really don't like to name names like this, but the person who told me this was Chet Douthit, he guides on Okeechobee now, but he had a successful B.A.S.S career, he is known to be in the top 50 greatest B.A.S.S fisherman, he is a personel friend of people like Roland Martin and knows all the B.A.S.S people, He has written a few articles for BASSIN magazine, he and his wife have a contract to do their own fishing show because the won "The Last Cull " Reality fishing show. He is part of the Tv fishing thing now, he said Dance has done it for years, and isn't really that rare of a pratice. I m just relaying what i was told. This came up because i asked him why every fish that dance catches looks the same, he just catches 4 pounder after 4 pounder, they are never smaller or bigger. Don't quote me, but somehow the water is shocked , i dont know anything but what i was told

i heard from a reliable source that on Bill Dance's show, the water is electricly shocked causing the fish to bite anything they see. He fishes his own private pond. Every fish he cathes looks the same, good tips but not really realistic

Any aluminum boat? I doubt that, it won't go shallower, it won't outrun it if the alum. boat is the same size and has the same or more hp, it also isnt any cheaper, i will give it to you that your stratos probably has more room.

i dont keep bass very often either. If i want to eat something, ill take a half hour and fish for crappies and bluegills

ive always been a fan of the older guys(roland, nixon, grigsby, denny b, douthit...) but i think that Ike is good for fishing just like Ali was good for Boxing
