  1. I for one enjoy the heck out of them post and sincerely hope she keeps posting. I like seeing them "little fish" too. I applaude you Deb
  2. If Caleb can do it you can do it. He just caught a nice hog saturday on a baby brush hog. He's 6 years old and learning as I am, and so can anyone.
  3. Trial ad error. experimentation and talking to other bass fisherman. Strike up conversations on the water when they pass by and don't forget to ask 'em what they are using. sometimes you hit the motherload for the lake. If possible get a buddy he'll keep you motivated and get some good ole fashioned competition going. With competition comes inventiveness and learning from each other.
  4. Please thyself buddy. Conservation is great and I'm big on catch and release, but for the big fish story you gotta snap the pic and get the stats and round up.
  5. I wanted it to taste like chicken. ;D
  6. I've seen it on there, but I don't trust it. Money would be better spent on the boat and bait monkey.
  7. Might be easiest to find out where it works, then splice and run wores from there.
  8. Past three weeks here in Ky I've been picking my battles and it has been fiercely hot. When I have hit the water it has been after 5:oo till dark. When I have been able to catch fishits been in the shade. with heat index at 105 it is hard to be dedicated. Well at least when its this hot I can learn more through the forum.
  9. Thanks senile and Road warrior you just turned me onto something good. Got some today and tested on a nice sized bass. awsome line
  10. Mine gave me fits when a key broke on the flywheel. It put it out of time and acted like it was not getting fire. Cost me about 40 cents and a lot of head scratching.
  11. It is possible to put a trolling motor on a pontoon. Also hard to snag a cheap one they are so in demand.

Welcome aboard, I spent some time in western KY Oak Grove area.
  13. If you can get the boat in the water and then get it home I can't really see a wrong answer here.
  14. I would check for loose wires and or shorts before I changed the switch out. If it's a sometimes working thing a connector or a roll of black tape might just help.
  15. I am just the opposite I want mine as low as it can ride without damage. This for me is about loading and unloading. If you have a reese hitch you can get an adjustable drawbar, that would make it easy.
  16. Good luck and God bless Avid.
  17. My last spool was stren to me it seemed to do weird things. Memory problems knots where they shouldn't be. I tried stren because I was using Trilene which wasn't working well for Carolina rigging. I was searching for tougher which I got but, paid the price on the other end limp and castability.
  18. A person would hafta be high tech to put it on craigs list. Old school is sometimes better in that the old guys still do it that way. Older guys usually have fishing boats young guys have speed boats and jet ski contraptions.
  19. Is there a brand of line that does't have a lot of memory? i usually go with 10 lb and fish plastics mostly. Thanks
  20. I have noticed a decline in baits I have always used to great effectiveness. It seems as though they have learned from the first encounter with the bait. Any body else get the same feeling about their favorite lure?
  21. Just got my bassboat and came up there fathers day. It was fun dodging the mighty 3 foot wake. Drained the battery running the bilge. I'd like to see my sone get hooked up on a sizeable muskie up there he'd love it.
  22. Your looking at about 160 miles. North on I-75,then east on I64
  23. this is a great place to find a wonderful group of ***atics. I'll probably be at Cave Run when the weather cools down and the pleasure boats stay home. welcome aboard
  24. I'm dissatisfied with the service at BPS. I was told last night that it might ship last night and it still shows "IN PROCESS." There is something fundamentally wrong with forgetting to ship after they did't forget to charge the credit card. > shame on 'em
