  2. russ you are the MAN!!!!! GREAT VIDEO!!!! i never would have thought of skipping it hard right at the boat, and then having the bait fly far and hit soft
  3. great fish and pic! im gonna have to explore the self timer options on my camera.
  4. hey these things look great! but how would you fish them? if i just reel them in, do they have their own action? is there any kind of special heads to put on them to give them swimming action? if anyone could tell me how to fish them, that'd be great!!!!
  5. yo that first bass aint too bad!!!! i'd like to catch any of those bass...all mine are smaller than those...
  6. haha very funny sam ;D but yeah, i wanna see what i can pull up from the murky depths (about 6 foot actualy) of the farm ponds. known for big fish the owner tole me he put 8lbers in there. the state record is only 11lbs, and that was caught from a farm pond!
  7. yikes!!! i think someone tried too hard to poopie! but seriously thats weird! i hope i dont ever catch one like that!
  8. aaahhhhhhhh ive never seen any of his pics tho
  9. i must be missing something :-?
  10. ok cool i got my vote set in as texas now.
  11. all looks good! PM me if you need any help with dressing those trebels cuz i candefinitley help ya out i been for over a year now and im very good no to brag
  12. the sahara and cardinal are both great. my dad has a cardinal 504 and its great. but the sahara is probably better....why you ask, cuz like pflumis said...IT SAYS SHIMANO ON IT!!!!!! lol. but seriously, its good reel.
  13. yeah thats the one i got. i like it alot. never let me down...till i dropped it and the bail got bent and then wouldnt opperate right. i fixed it tho its all good now, still preforms to my expectations.
  14. Ok, maybe I have these fancy names out of place. Hooking the worm in the center is what I thought was T-rigged. Texas rigged is threading the worm up the hook, then hooking it to the point making it basically weedless. Then what is hooking the worm in the center?? Wacky??? well shoot! now it counts my vote as wacky. i wanted it texas. is there a way i can change it?
  15. i'd like to give thanks for all the folks in the fishing gear forum (specially you reelmech!) for helping me through my process of finding the right rod and reel i love my citica and im sure i will love my allstar when i purchase it
  16. THERE IS SUCH A THING???? :-? since when?!?!?!?
  17. haha i was wondering what your second arm was doing in there lol. i was thinkin, either that thing weighs 40lbs, or he's just really weak! lol j/k
  18. whats the smark? is that another daiwa reel w/ the bar??? and yeah i do like the twitchin bar. my friend has a viento and it does come in handy. no problems with it...yet.
  19. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D thats what i say. sure theyre easy to use and all, but i'd never CONSIDER using them for bass. sure if your just goin panfishing w/ the kids or whatever then yeah theyre a good choice, but WAYYYY too unreliable for bass.

great job! you dont see that tail thing everywhere you go....a nice advantage. but i have to ask...why did you make 6 baits all identical? (with the exception of the tail)
  21. i voted t-rigged. i guess theres no difference between t-rig and texas rig, but i like t-rig better, faster to type
  22. haha yeah prlly 8. that thing has a huge mouth in the second pic!!!
  23. woops ! sorry guys! i accidentally made a copy of the last picture. i fixed it so now the last picture is of my bass. lol! woops! : ;D
  24. sure is lol!!! ;D it seems that that is the one no-fail lure. when nothing else will work, i can go to that and manage a few bass. thanks everyone for the comments i also got a few pics of roadkill during the trip, but im sure you wouldnt want me to post them : :) ;D
  25. great job! judging by the size of that bad boy's mouth i'd say upwards of 8lbs! prlly close to 10!!!
