best magazine?
field and stream is ok...they do have some good articles....but definitley not outdoor life. that is mainly hunting. i dropped both subscriptions because there wasnt enough fishing in them.

best magazine?
thats what i say! definitley not north american fisherman. that magazine sucks big time. not informational in the least bit. they also have vedry few bass fishing articles...and when they do they suck. in fisherman at least has good articles, but only about one is on bass fishing. so i'd go with bassmaster (never read it tho, but its all about bass) but your best bet it to save money and read bass resource!!!

whats the REAL size of this bass?
haha yeah he would be upset lol! but i gave him the link to it so he can check in and see what we all think of the bass....it seems to be pretty obvious that its in the 2-2.5 pound range. def not 6. when he said it was 6lbs i was like BULL S***!!!!!! and after a minute or two of arguing with him he lowered the weight to 5.8lbs. still no way in hell lol!

most bass i've ever caught in one outing! PICS
wow. what a day. this morning got up at 6 got to the farm pond around 7. i had on a BPS Nitro super shallow crankbait. i was casting around the dock hopin to get hit on my first cast. well didnt happen. probably on my 10th cast i got my first fish, and the biggest of the day! this one went 18.5" and 2.75lbs. another one from that pond i kept fishing that and caught a few more. then i switched over to a bandit foot loose (the BPS crank was going too deep) and caught a few more. all in all i caught 7 fish from that pond. my dad only managed 1 cuz he was bottom fishing with a 7" yum dinger. his fish was 15.5" then the fishing slowed so i walked over to the second pond across the yard, and the fishing was killer over there!!!! there was duckweed all over the surface, totaling about 3/4 of the pond, but it was blowing with the wind so it chaged all the time. well my dad got one on a torpedo next to the edge of the duckweed. then i casted a 4" yum dinger on the duckweed and as soon as it fell off the edge into open water it got slammed. but i was using an ultralite and couldnt get a hookset in. then i tried again and i hooked up and caught the bass. then i tried once more and caught another fish in the exact same spot! after those two i switched over to a 7" power worm (wanted a kicking tail) and continued to catch fish on that. i ended up with a total of 18 bass!!!!! here are a few more pics of the nicer ones that i caught: my dad ended up with a big bluegill on the torpedo. then he switched over to a worm like me and landed a 16" bass. so that was an extremely productive day for me!!! not so much for my dad, with only 4 fish, but at least all of his were nice sized!!! P.S. all of the fish that i caught at the second pond (with duckweed) i caught on an ultralight setup with 6lb line and a loose drag!!! those bass sure put up a good fight, and when they swim in the duckweed it makes it even more fun because thers more resistance!!!

North American Fishing Club????
for all you skeptics out there that are afraid its a scam...its not. they really do send you stuff for field testing and you really do get to keep it free of charge. but its usually little crap for crap things like i got some bug repellent wipes and a sample pack of 3 worms (got that same sample pack 3 different times too). i thought it was all cool at first, but its really just a waste of money. theres no true benefits of this club. they just want money. even the magazine isnt very informational. the only good thing is the forum. but my friend's membership expired and he can still access the forum. the forum doesnt compare to BR for information tho....BR is sooo much better. the fishing club forum is more about making friends and being buddies with everyone, not fishing lol. so all in all, the NAFC is for real, but i think its a waste and i advise you not to become a member.
