nobody even told me... i saw the time was about 1:30am last night and decided its time to go to bed. so i get off the computer and go brush my teeth and get my music and whatnot, then as i get in bed i see my alarm clock reads 2:40 something and i'm like WTH!?!??? what was i doing for an hour?? then i checked my cellphone and saw the time was actually 1:40 and remembered daylight saving time. why can't they just leave the d**n clocks alone... >

i want to say that it might be helpful to incorporate the lip slots in your computer generated models, but i'm not sure if these would transfer when you go to make your copies on the duplicator machine. if you were just making molds of the computer generated models then you should think about going ahead and putting the lip slot in the models so you don't have to cut it yourself later. just something to think about

to make the bodies i use a coping saw (band saw would be optimal) for cutting out bodies, dremel for shaping, drill for drilling out ballast and hardware holes, and a vise is helpful for holding the body while you're working on cutting and shaping it. to make the hardware i use 19guage stainless steel wire, a nail, pliers, a drill, and a vise. there should be a tutorial on this in the sticky section at the top of this forum.

looks great, i like the scale work. i'd like to hear more about how you did this. as for color, i think you can't go wrong with a generic olive/brown/silverish minnow pattern here. or baby bass. i wouldn't paint this in trout or shad because of the scales and general shape.
