  8. now thats some most excellent snake info. i never knew snakes where deaf thats fasinateing. only snakes ive ever handled personally were garden snakes, and a few species of boas. i like them but if i dont know what species a snake is i wont mess with them. when i lived in california i did have a rattler chase after me once for a fat guy i moved pretty quick to ;D he didnt get me but he came very very close. whew i break out in a sweat just thinking of it. ive no idea why he went after me to this very day. i do enjoy learning about them however, they are just interesting creatures.

  15. The absolute best use of Gulp is to sell it to somebody that doesn't know that it is no good and use the money to buy Zoom worms. Seriously, I hate the stuff, I only catch catfish, bream, and snapping turtles with it. Not a single bass. you know ive thought of doing just that those berkley gulp worms i have are brand new to
  16. a friend of mine got some of those snakes and they were junk they melted on him, nor would the hooks stay in. personally i like doug hannon just not his snake product which is why im looking into alternatives
  17. when i was a kid around 13 i used to buy those toy rubber life like snakes at walmart and put a hook on them the ones i used were about 6 inchers or so i caught many bass on them since they were soft plastic rubber types. these days i cant find any worms like that any where. ive got some wobblehead worms which my dad bought for me at gander mtn but ive yet to try them
  18. since were mentioning snakes ive been looking for those life like rubber /plastic snakes in the 6 to 10 inch area and cant find them anywhere. used to use them as a kid when fishing would like to do so again.
  19. Brent has hookers?! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D sorry brent i couldnt resist ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  20. I see. And which of our piscatorial friends confirmed this bit of information? As far as the mouth, lips, digestive tract of a bass being tough as nails, to that I have no doubt. But what about when we hook em through the eye/ Think might hurt a tad? As far the dharma queen spokesperson for all Buddhists. Please feel free to view her comments as if she were someone who read a few bible verses and posted a website announcing they were the messenger of His true word. Let's get real ok? We can argue about scientific evidence and brain size, and gullet roughness and all that stuff. But why? Are we afraid to acknowledge that we are involved in a blood sport because some squeamish types find it politically incorrect? Nobody here is a fish so nobody here knows for sure what they feel or how they feel it. But lets not hide behind these scientific cop outs. We are engaged in a legal, economically viable pastime, that we and others enjoy. It does no harm to humans, and using care and consideration for our quarry........c&R. rejuvenation etc. it can actually benefit the breed, and the ecosystem. Not that this matters. We fish because we enjoy it. It's legal. And that's all there is to it. now thats what i missed when avid was recovering well spoken avid
