Four married guys go fishing. After an hour, the following conversation took place. First guy: " You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come out fishing this weekend. I had to promise my wife that I will paint every room in the house next weekend." Second guy: " that's nothing, I had to promise my wife that I will build her a new deck for the pool." Third guy: " Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife that I will remodel the kitchen for her." They continue to fish when they realized that the fourth guy has not said a word. So they asked him. You haven't said anything about what you had to do to be able to come fishing this weekend. " What's the deal?" Fourth guy: " I just set my alarm for 5:30 am. When it went off, I shut off my alarm, gave the wife a nudge and said, " Fishing or Sex" and she said, " Wear a Sweater."

I agree with muddy many times too much equipment bashing going on. i understand higher end products may be better but then again theres people who cant afford a g loomis ( my dream rod) and get stuck with a quest med/hvy action for 25 bucks on sale. i really wish more people would let me know whats best to use in the cheaper rods from wally world or dicks sporting goods muddy,catt,and lbh and rw has been a awsome help in educating me about rods. even though i still use a med ugly stik for a cranking rod ;D i do wonder if the ugly stik would be good for swimbaits?

;D cliff, i remember those high school days, playing hooky and going fishing. never had a date during all of high school as popular as i was since i was the only deaf guy in Princeton High of 84 through 88. i remember the gals in school though but they seemed not to want to be bothered with a research geek. these days are so differnt from high school wish i knew what i know now back then trust everyone here you'll miss high school when your 40 8-)

thanks for that info rw. jody foster is hot BIG time. since chick's might dig this film i'll get me a date. i dont usually go to movies since i'm deaf but for a jody foster flick i'll go i loved her in red dragon,and a few of her other movies.

alabama has their work cut out for them with georiga for sure. i'm not too worried about that game the bama game that really worrys me is when bama plays l.s.u since they have the defense from hell. i'm really hoping bama beats georgia i think people are really going to sit up and take notice of alabama when and if they do. saban does have a sec title but someone also forgot to mention that michigan hasn't enjoyed the prominace they have since saban left. he is doing what he does best which is coach college ball. sure the bama players may be smaller then your average team but somehow saban has these boys fired up. think of the times you've seen smaller teams who you thought weren't great win time and time again. could this be the case with alabama? that reminds me i need to watch that l.s.u game tonight the only reason i watch other teams is to see what alabama has in store for them. i seriously think alabama could lose to l.s.u and f.s.u those are 2 teams bama MUST beat in my book.

i refuse to keep largemouth or small mouth bass, i'll eat stripper however or sea bass,walleye,crappie,bluegills,and catfish. everything i may keep will be legal limit. wont keep cats over 2 lbs,nor will i keep tiny crappie fish or bream, i refuse to eat musky or northern pike dont like them those get released with the bass. i do have a few great fish recipies however such as smoked striper dip, and a few others. when i eat fish i like fried,smoked,grilled,baked etc....... i'm a big boy so i do eat i've been reading about selective harvest however and not too sure what to think about it,and when i do keep fish its not all that often,most of the time i release them .

Wal Mart Fishing Associate and Woman Buying Tackle A woman goes into Wal-mart to buy a rod and reel. She doesn't know which one to get, so she just grabs one and goes over to the register. There is a Wal-mart associate standing there with dark glasses on. She asks, "Excuse me sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?" He says, "Ma'am I'm blind, but if you drop it on the counter I can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound that it makes." She didn't believe him, but dropped it all on the counter anyway. He said "That's a 6' graphite rod with Zebco 202 reel and 10 lb. test line. It's a good all around rod and reel, and it's $20." She says, "That's amazing that you can tell all that just by the sound of it dropping on the counter. I think it's what I'm looking for, so I'll take it." He walks behind the counter to the register. And in the meantime, the woman farts. At first she is embarrassed, but then realizes that there is no way he could tell it was she. Being blind, he wouldn't know that she was the only person around. He rings up the sale and says, "That will be $25.50." She asks, "But didn't you say it was $20?" He says, "Yes ma'am, the rod and reel is $20, the duck call is $3, and the catfish stink bait is $2.50!"

personally i'm looking forwards to the next bama game just to see what saban does this week end. now that we gotta play georgia thats going to be interesting because georgia does have a good team. everyone keep saying give bama a couple of years but i think the results speak for themselves. they did win 3 in a row theres something to be said for that in itself so saban has gotten the job does even if he pulled it out of his wahzoo or by the seat of his pants. persoanlly i think georgia has a better defense which poses a problem for bama. whats your take on this next game guys?
