  1. final head count? rules? 8-3pm? I vote for 6 fish bags. It appears as though we all have live wells so we can weigh-in at marina. Did some mention they have a scale? I'm stoked. Can't wait to put faces with names. See everyone tomorrow.
  2. well done. i need to get a copy of that "map"...
  3. I was going to say that but I thought that info may be classified...
  4. do we have a final count of who is attending?
  5. you cant talk on this thread anymore as you are not fishing...haha
  6. sunday...i thought we were fishing saturday???
  7. Ill let you hold my bag Newangler. May even take your pic...
  8. thats Matt's middle name too...game over. sorry boys.
  9. good thing my name is AARON!!!
  10. my boat is full...Dan, Matt and I... GAME OVER!!!
  11. can rock fit 3? where is 420? come on guys!!!!!!
  12. If i cant get the live well up and running I say we do pictures and weight on paper. Dan, I'll let you know as soon as I hear this afternoon. If we are doing 3 man teams then count yourself in no matter what! This could be a deadly team...let the talking begin
  13. I'm in the process of updating my live well system (what a pain). I don't think I'll be done by Saturday. Are we doing an actual weigh-in? I guess I may be able to bring a livewell (cooler) from my buddies jon boat. I'm waiting to hear back from a friend about fishing as a co-angler. If he can not make it I have room for 1 or 2 if need be. I can let you know this afternoon.
  14. time to charge the batteries!
  15. he is talking about launching at Occoquan park (not fountain head). That seems like a decent idea. For that matter pohick bay is very accessible for small boats too. I'm not comfortable launching my boat at burke. What time is this taking place? What are the rules? Depending on location I have room for a co-angler.
  16. thanks for the info. i'll stick with the potomac this weekend. good luck guys.
  17. how realistic is it to fish from a bass boat at Burke? would i be fine with my outboard as long as i do not run it? how realistic is it to fish with a trolling motor only? I'm game for Saturday. let me know.
  18. I'm down for the Potomac too. I agree, I'm not to sure what is going on with all this big bait vs. little bait stuff...Why are we only using the two bag limits? I vote for a simple two man tourney. If not everyone has live wells a picture of fish on the scale would suffice. Keep it simple, have fun and meet new people!
  19. I'm interested depending on location. i would prefer to use my own boat instead of renting one. keep me updated.
  20. guys take quan up on his offer. he knows his stuff. he is a tournament guru...
  21. cant we just have a friendly two man team tourney?
  22. oh the joys of owning a boat...jk. sorry to hear about the problems. at least your not a skins fan like ME!!! Do you have insurance? If so, with who? What kind of oil are you using? I ask because I have a great hook up.
  23. ouch...i love my revos and rangers!!!
  24. I may be heading out tomorrow. I'll let you know. Are you leaning towards glass or aluminum? I recommend that you have a mechanic check the engine out prior to your purchase (around $200). Depending on the age of the boat make sure you check the transom very thoroughly. I just changed mine and it is not a fun process. If the motor and transom check out you are good to go.Take your time and don't settle. I hate to say it but plan on many unexpected costs (the joy of owning a boat)!Good luck
  25. Most were on swimbaits. 2 on frogs.
