That was not my point. The point is to make it as simple and effective as possible.

fishing reports
I really wish we could go back to posting reports in the regional section. I'm all for trying new things but this really makes it more difficult to find the information I'm looking for. There are so many posts in the outing section now. Most are not labeled by region in the subject line therefore forcing you to read each post. Just my thoughts...

help w/ fishing high tide??? (pt. 2)
Hello all. I'm looking for advice on fishing high tide in tidal rivers. I do very well during low tide but truly struggle finding fish during high tide. I posed this question a while back and only received two replies (thanks Dan). Looking for as much info as I can on the subject. Thanks.

Rage Shad issues.
My favorite bait!!! 4/0 is the way to go. The only time I've had trouble with this bait is when I had an older pack without the plastic insert keeping each bait straight in the package.

Vertglas
Hello all. I was reading another post and noticed a recommendation for Vertglas. Anyone use it? Reviews? Recommendations? Thanks.

Ribbit Frog - lots of hits, no fish landed!
takes some practice. I would use either a 4/0, 5/0 EWG or a frog type hook with a screw lock. The most important part is waiting a minimum of 2 seconds before setting the hook. I usually like to wait until I feel the weight of the fish on my line.

Fishing reports
problem with that is you now have to sort through reports from every state instead of just your region.
