Hello all. I have a question regarding wacky rigs. What is the going thought on o rings? Is that the preferred way to fish a wacky rig? I read a lot about using this technique when all else fails. Can this be a go to rig to start with? All thoughts appreciated.

recently tried Yo-Zuri Hybrid fishing line thanks to roadwarrior's suggestion. I am truly impressed. This past weekend I hooked my largest bass of the year, 4.5lbs., which proceeded to tie me up under a submerged tree. I fought him for 10 plus minutes of non stop abrasion. The line simply amazing. Thank you again roadwarrior.

I do. I still think that bc of the girth it would still be difficult to set the hook.

I noticed a nice thread on the fat ika. I have fished it a few times w/ no real results. To be fair I never gave it a true shot. My question deals w/ hook up ratios fishing the ika's. I have been using an ewg #4. I have been rigging it like a senko but backwards. I am worried that due to the size of the ika the hook up ratio would be very low. Any thoughts???

Hello all. I recently purchased a few packs of Storm's Wild Eye Swim baits. I have never fished swim baits before so I am in need of advice on technique and when and where to use such lures.

The depth around the shoreline starts at around 5-7 feet. In terms of bait or other action for that matter; I noticed a few sunfish near the surface of the stumps. This spot is also near the dam if that matters at all. I was worried that there is low oxygen levels at that depth. Someone mentioned trying jigsshould I be concentrating on the bottom of these stumps? Thanks for any ideas

This past weekend I fished an unfamiliar portion of a reservoir I normally fish due to low water conditions. I stumbled upon a little cove that was covered with what appeared to be stumps. To my surprise the depth at this spot was ranging from 25-34 feet deep and less than 30 yards from shore. So my vision of stumps turned out to be treesI proceeded to fish this spot with no luck. What is the typical max depth to fish for bass? Any thoughts on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I use a small jar (mine was originally a capers jar) about 4 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. I then dip my lures into the jar as needed. No clean up this way and you don't waist as much as you would spraying it. Hope this helps.

I should have asked what size senko. in your case i would go w/ a size 3 ewg. The only problem w/ the 4inch senko is the number of dinks u catch. i would go w/ the 5 inch if you can. just my thoughts. good luck
