Did he have a fish/depth finder? That's d**n good for a first outing. When we were there there was a guy in a folboat following us around like a shark on a trail, he told us he caught some large ones and I guess he didint think we believed him so he circled us for maybe ten minutes insisting we look at his pictures lol! We had to "graciously" decline ;D

Welcome to the area and congrats on opening up your own practice! Although I don't have a boat you'll quickly learn that the guys here are very friendly and always willing to help with advice or lend an open seat! thats nothing in the spendy dept, lucky craft makes one spendy spinner....at under $6 I dont think the War Eagle are expensive at all, hell a bag of yamaplastics cost more than that!

I fished heron lake and a another pond off silverbrooke rd today hooked up to two, landed one, but one guy at heron was in a great spot and was pulling out lots of little bass and big crappie If you're planning on going to burke or something and want company, I'm always down to fish those brush piles!

Hands down the best spinnerbait I've ever used, it runs straight, cast great (esp the screaming eagles), skirts are hand tied with wire, and they will last!

That reminds me I could probably get one of my friends to come and bring his boat too if it was after the 17th since he is on the same school schedule as me If we do it after the 17th it'll give us plenty of time to plan this out

On another note if we do Anna before the 9th or after the 16th my friend Daniel will come with his boat

LOL the 8lb honey hole, more like the 12lb honey hole, 8's arent that uncommon at briery and sandy Just work the coves, submerged timber and drop off under the powerlines at briery, I've never been to sandy or swift so I couldnt tell you
