I've heard so much about the the drop shot in the past couple of years. I have become interested in learning the how to's of it. Especially the best time to use, where to use it, and what to throw on it. basically about everything and anything would help. P.S. thanks for any input from anyone

I love to smallie fish I'm new to the forum. Lots of great input everyone. Question to everyone? I've not heard about the IKA'S till now what's everyone's favorite colors. Maybe that help me save some$$ by avoiding the trial and error part of trying a new bait and buying a bunch of colors that just don't produce. ;D P.S THANKS IN ADVANCE

I agree with with everyone craws, little hair jigs, grubs, shakey head senko, and spinnerbaits are your best choices in dark colors except if your fishing crystal clear water like dale hollow in which case try hues of brown and green.

i use senko's alot on a shakey head jig i fish lake cumberland, dale hollow, norris lake, cherokee to name a few. have had real good luck with yamamoto watermelon red/green flake color. grubs and craw's work well also.

i live in south east ky the lakes i fish are all deep and clear. so night fishing is a must this time of year. Blacklights are a must a good line to use is BERKLEY MAXX in the PHOTOCROMIC color. IT'S clear before dark in the daylight hours before dark and glows to where you see it under the blacklight after it gets dark.
