congrats 8-) how long have ya known each other?

Doesn't have to be a DR machine, just looking at this model and was wondering if they are worth it? They easy to handle? I have some rough areas to get to and two of them are dicthes.

yea, i even nuked it a few times, I've come to fine that a few brushes i failed to clean but kept anyway work better applying finish. This mudhole stuff to me would be cool for my 12 yr old son to have, he's built two rods so far and this last one he wants to do a tiger wrap. be kinda nice to have for him to help him after he worked his butt off. thats alot of finish he needs to apply, plus i can see it helping newbies come along on some first builds.

Have you seen this yet and anyone try it yet? Specially formulated for rod builders to release and help remove the bubbles that occur when applying 2-part epoxy finish to your rods. works by releasing the surface tension of the 2-part epoxy, allowing the encapsulated bubbles to rise and burst. They say it leaves no residue, I will like to try this. here's a vid of it

Exactly, it is not. I believe they also get more funding with more troubled students they keep, unless this has changed. If you can put your child under a teacher closer to a one on one situation, is where you get the most out of learning, with less distractions.

Much agreed The school system does not want you to home school nor does the big brother, this is a myth on social repercussions, how else can they scare you? they want to keep your money in the schools.

In between our MHX rod builds me and my son made some baits for us.

Catch and release, its just what I do anymore. I also believe in balance, its common sense, just like Does to Bucks ratio. This keeps it healthy. So Im not the one to keep any fish to eat when needed, just don't care for the taste of them anymore, its not terrible but there's no fuss over them, just like crab meat, its OK but its not all that.

theres guys that build rods next to nothen on tools. you got fancy tools and simple tools. I started off with some tool purchases and ended up making those same tools and love them better than store bought. this is the tools i started out with Tom Kirkmans rod build book, hand wrapper, reamer, pop cycle sticks, tooth picks, razor blades, brushes, metal file, sand paper, masking tape, grease pencil,. You should love it. It is a patient hobby, so if ya can relax with it then it might suite you, cause rushen thru a build shows. there is so much more info for ya, just be sure to hangout. Theres some great rod builders on here

Hey Bubba, nice to see another fellow rod maker. its a great thing to build one. I've been at it for about 2yrs or so. Only advice I offer is what ya might need to start building ;D Lot of great builders here that know the advice on building a rod. I also Love to introduce it to people, that's a great joy 8-)

Hang in there man, I believe it does excist, I use to not think so, untill I seen the eyes of a child that had it bad. I think its something that does exist but they jump on it too quick. My son has turrets, he has to have a thing, like a twitch. Either blinks alot or lifts his eye brows up and down to much, even sometimes he likes to twitch his shoulder. im told he should grow out of it. He's extremely bright, two years ahead of his age in book smarts. I just don't like how they want you to jump to quick on an answer, kinda why it took me 6 yrs to marry my wife Probably gets it from me, cause im a nut ball, im extremely possessive on the small things and I know it. The other thing I do is notice all the things that happen to my body as I get older so my possessive disorder makes it tens times worse.
