Hey guys, I'm a new guy from Northern Iowa and fish mostly the Iowa great lakes, Minnesota and NE South Dakota. I'm excited to find a place to talk fishing!

    In the past I've mostly been a walleye guy. A couple years ago we mad a short fall trip to Roy Lake, SD with my oldest son and had a blast on the big smallies. Haven't been able to get them off my mind since. I fish with a 9yo and a 6yo, so I've had to wait patiently for their casting to improve enough to survive the day in the boat, though, so most of the fishing we've done has been panfishing and crankbait trolling for walleyes. I think this year might be safe enough to do some bassin', though :)
