Just get good insurance on your boat, gear, and everything else in the boat. If somebody really wants to steal your boat, they're gonna get it.

I have a locking pin through the hitch. But if they want it bad enough, they'll get it.

try this: http://stores.intuit.../Categories.bok

Or this: http://www.locrbar.com/

I have the first one; it works ok. Saw the second on Edwin Ever's boat a couple years back when he wass at Bass Pro, and the next week he won in Florida. Dont know if there was a connection but who knows, maybe!

Its just a ( brand new) 14 foot aluminum fishing boat, with a new 15HP motor. I'd just like to slide it ashore next to my dock, and chain it to a tree, or something similar, maybe the dock itself? But was wondering if there''s anything more secure?

I've had my old 14 foot johnboat there for years with no problems, but this rig is brand new and may be a target for thieves?

Let the dogs out in back yard an pull boat in your yard secured.
