What Size Bullet Weight Gives You The Slowest Fall

What size bullet weight gives you the slowest fall???

A steel weight is bigger than lead or tungsten, so that would slow it down more.

Are you asking what is the lightest size avialable? I own 1/32 oz tungsten weights, but like Jake said, the slowest fall would be weightless...

Weightless weights? :laugh5:

J/K I know what you mean, unweighted baits do fall slower than weighted.

What about those floating bullets for walleye?

Never heard of them, but you got me intrigued!

Rate of fall has several elements to it, it doesn´t mean that the lightest weight will make the bait fall slower, you also have size and shape of the bait ( hydrodynamic resistance ) and bouyancy of the material the bait is made from, a larger beefier bait will fall at a slower rate ( ex: a brush hog ) than a slimer bait weighted with the same weight ( ex: a worm ).

Is this a trick question? Just kidding.

If you're looking for a slow level fall, use a hook with a shank weight. They come as light as 1/64 oz that I have seen. At that light of a weight though, it's almost a wash with just using a heavier gauge hook.
