Red Fox Kits

Featured Replies

I was out at a local lake un-winterizing a cabin for a customer when I saw a couple of little fox. Some people were doing some excavating across the road so I'm not sure if their mom was out hunting or they were evicted from their den.. Went back a day later and brought a camera and some hotdogs.

Thats awesome red fox are some of the most beautiful animals to walk this earth. I still like seeing them in my cross hairs though or out front of some hounds in the snow. Hopefully mom was just out mousing and not killed some where. How many kits where there.

Does the kit contain a Lamont or do I have to purchase that separately??

My parents had a female red fox with kits that lived right down the street that we're always out playing along the treeline. It was pretty cool to watch them grow up from fat little balls of fur to the sleak hunters they grow up to be.

I love Redd Foxx, he was hilarious!

I was so hoping that was what this thread was about. :(

To the OP, cool pics. He looks fairly young. I miss seeing that kind of stuff across my lake. Stupid land developers.

The first day I discovered them there was 2 that I saw. One that looked like the one in the picture and a runt with a scar on his head. The one in the pic is the only one I saw the 2nd day.

I'm probably going to stop back out there tomorrow. I have to assume the mother is still alive, but I'm curious.

When the kit in the pic would bring a piece of hotdog back under the building there was at least one more under there cause I could hear them start fighting over it. I think it was just that runt though. He wouldn't show himself.
