Hey everyone,

I just recently got back into fishing after a taking a couple years off for college and then again when I got into guns for a while. I stumbled upon this site and wow am I impressed. I don't have very many friends or family, other than my dad, who really enjoys fishing so it has been nice reading all the info on the site.

A bit about myself and experience. I am in my mid 20s currently living in East TN. I travel alot for work (like 3-4 months onthe road at a time) so I figured getting back into fishing would help me cope with being away from my family so much. I grew up fishing just about any water I could; local ponds, creeks, canals where I grew up in FL and TN; did alot of inshore saltwater fishing for reds and specs; and currently I am fishing alot of farm ponds right now that my Father in Law build and stocked over the years on his farm.

My current goal in the realm of fishing is to purchase a boat in the next few years; if I can manage to stay away from buying more rods and reels than i can keep in my garage.
