Jig trailer quickie

Featured Replies

Well i got some money to spend on some lures from xmas and I'm gonna get and black/red and black/blue 3/8 ounce Booyah boo jig. had the same ones last year but seem to have misplaced them...I never used jig trailers and wanted to get some, i was looking at the paca craws but am unsure about what size or color i should get. Any help fellas?

get some black/blue paca chunks or some rage tail chunks... they r the best

I really like the paca chunks. For the black and red, I would match that with a black neon chunk.

For the black/blue, I actually like to use an okeechobee craw colored trailer.

I have all sizes of the paca's and also use the smallie and sweet beavers from reaction innovations.

I buy anything that looks like it will match up well with the jig. I then put some ground up coffee in the package with them to get that great fish catching coffee sent in with the trailers. Very effective. Just don't add too much coffee or it will just turn the plastics black.

Berkley chigger craw that matches the jig.

for a real quick/emergency trailer on jigs or spoons, try a gator tail broken off tail (sickle-type). great action on the drop.

...yeah, I noticed you were looking for new trailers. just thought I'd throw it in.
