Just curious what you guys all use for your trailers, I use the typical Chunks and Grubs (single and double), but I also use a lot of various soft plastics, usually for my swim jigs I will use larger trimmed worms for a nice long twister tail, or parts of other baits that have nice action, usually doesnt seem to have a dramatically different effect, but is fun anyway.

Just wondering what you guys will use besides the usual craw/chunk or grub - the most common choices I find.

I use the smaller Beaver type baits, super chunks and chunk jr.s in cold water and rage craws for swimjigs. If the swim jig bite is on and they are hitting it on the move I'll often switch to a paddle tail bait like the Lunker City Swimfish or Berkley ripple shad. On my finesse jigs I found a craw that works in warm and cold water, it is the River Rock Baits Jakes Craw, I'm not sure what it is with that craw but the fish don't just hit it they try to eat it, in fact it has been so good to me that I find I'm throwing the finesse jig every time I get out and so far it has produced every time.

I also like to use the tail section of Swim Senkos. You can put the tail up or down. Mainly only on swim jigs.

I use GY Flappin' hog 2 lately. They are on the pricey side so when they get damaged, I cut off most of the body and use the claws for trailers. It really makes the jig a lot more beefy.

My two most sucessful trailers by far are a rage chunk and a yum money craw...... both have dominated over zoom chucks or anything else I have tried.

I use The Denny Braeur 3x elastech chunks 100% of the time great action they last and work consistently. Only downside is they melt in the heat like around 110 or so. And swim jigs I use roboworm easy shad or swim senkos trimmed down a bit

Along with the RT's that were mentioned above, I really like the Eeliminator as a jig trailer when the fish are looking for a slightly longer application with a lot of side to side tail whip. It has become one of my a favorites for flipping and also swim jig presentation. I clip about an inch off of the nose and thread it on with the tail turned up toward the hook. If you get a chance, just watch it in the water and you'll see what I'm talking about. The tail whip is Sweet and the fish like it too!

On lighter/smaller jigs, I'll trim a slight amount from the sides of the body to decrease the bulk.
