No Time for Sergeants - a classic

A Face in the Crowd - another classic starring Andy as a two faced, manipulating sleazeball. The dramatic opposite of Sheriff Taylor.

RIP

Dang. I knew I heard correctly earlier today when I was getting out of the shower and overheard the t.v in the other room. I got busy and forgot to confirm.

What a shame. R.I.P Sheriff Taylor.

Any time "A Face in the Crowd" is aired I won't miss it. As much as I appreciated his comedic roles in "No time for Sergeants and Onionhead, I most enjoyed his dramatic work.

The Andy Griffith Show has always been a favorite. Via Netflix, I have seen all 249 episodes.

I read an interview with Brad Paisley once where several county singers had tried to get Andy to do a cameo in a music video. He had declined several due to some of the content of the video and how the women were portrayed. When asked by Paisley officials he jumped at the chance. "Waiting on a women" one of the all time greats.
