Marriage life and soon to be family life has me wondering how much time others get to squeeze in for fishing.

How much time a week do you make it out on the water?

How much time do you need to make it out on the water before the trip is worth it?

For me I get to fish about once a week for about 5 hours a week. I want to be out on the water for at least 2 hours. If I cannot get 2 hours out of a trip then I usually wont go.

If im going to tow my boat to the lake, I have to have atleast 4 hours to fish. Just not worth it with less time unless the fishing in unbelievable. I wanted to go this morning, but had a 9:00 a.m. meeting, so I slept in. I usually fish twice a week during the summer, so I'll say 15- 20 hours a week.

Not nearly enough

When I go fishing I go for min 3-4hours and try to go 2-3 times a week, unless weather goes south or they just arent biting. My fishing buddy who is married and has a 2yr old is lucky if he gets to go out with me once a month. Life is more important than fishing.

I fish 3 or 4 times a week I am lucky to live on the lake...sometimes I will go down and fish a hour or so in some spots I know hold bass but most of the time we are out 4 hours or so..
