I can't find much online about these. I have one that was given to me for free a year back, and tried to purchase some more. It looks just like a Pointer 78 but has an even shorter bill. The bottom says Pointer SP Shallow Runner. I googled it but came up with no place that sells them.

Any info would  be appreciated.

Nope, not at all.  I just don't think they make them any more.  I have one left.  Here is a pic of one from ichiban.

The bait is still produced in Japan but called B'Freeze Short Bill instead of Pointer Shallow Runner.

Does this bait suspend?

There is a suspending and sinking version.

Don't know if there is floater....

As far as I know it is one of the baits that has been discontinued for the US market but still available for JDM. I have a few and to me they are just the same as the 78sp but don't dive as deep.
