Looking For A Certain Style Of Jig.

Featured Replies

I am looking for a jig with a head style similar to the terminator pro's top secret jig, or the spro k-finesse jig. I have used both in the past and like them very much, but they are getting harder and harder to find, especially in the colors and weights I want. So I am looking to find another company that makes a jig with a similar design, that I can order from whenever I need them. I am mainly using them for flippin and pitchin, and I really like the recessed line tine. I have also been told the old RC jig head design is similar, but they are hard to find too. Any help is appreciated.

P.S. they have to be available in lighter weights; 3/16, 1/4, 5/16

and available in these colors; white, green pumpkin, black/blue

One of the Bass Resource sponsors, Siebert Outdoors, makes a great jig for short money.

check out the elite jig for coming thru cover real nice.

The Boss swim jig in my avatar is a favorite, too.

That top secret jig looks like a punching jig...do they make it in that small of sizes?

I would recommend checking out the NorthStar Flip & Swim jig...Hand tied and painted with a beefy musted hook to pull them out of heavy cover. The neat thing about this jig is it's also designed to be swam in like our swim jigs, without rolling. VERY versitile.

Chris is known for taking good care of his customers, so there shouldn't be a problem accomidating the sizes you're looking for.

GMAN (Siebert Outdoors) has built several custom jig designs for me.

Check out his website for starters. If he or NorthStar don't have

exactly what you are looking for I will be surprised.

BTW, I'm working with GMAN on something new, The Roadwarrior, coming soon!

There you go! 2 sponsors of the site that can amke anything you want! I haven't used THAT Northstar jig but I am sure they are great! The Siebert one I use regularly and can tell you, flat out catches fish!

I would definitely recommend either the north star flip n' swim or for the recessed line tie the premier series from north star in alien shape head would be ideal, stands up great comes through cover very well and the skirt patterns are great, all hand tied and painted and very durable I have caught well over 200 fish on one jig the skirt material can definitely take some abuse.

I can make those sizes in a Bullet head or a Finesse round ball head. Those do not have recessed line ties.

The Brush is recessed but the only size is 1/4 or 3/8 in the small ones.

Hookset on 3 (Thanks!) posted my Elite Swim which is a great jig for cover and comes in the Poison head or Bullet.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all of the feedback. It looks like the closest two would be the brush jig or the alien head. I'm gonna try to find all of the terminators that I can in 1/4 oz. in my color choices, and then I will decide which of the recommendations to try.
