Hello all, I'm new new to the forum but not to the site. I've read with great interest the articles and posts. I hope to learn a lot by fellowship with members of this bass fishing fraternity. I have fished for bass for over 30 years and am always amazed at the strides the sport has made with the advent of technology in tackle, lures, and boats. I'm interested in fishing at my local tournament level just to see if I can compete with the best guys in my area. I'm from Mississippi by the way where as I post the heat is blistering so the bass fishing has slowed to a crawl , I await the fall when the cooler temps will ignite the fish and my other pursuits will kick in ie... deer and duck hunting.
