I want to have a net on the boat this year.  What does everyone use?  Is it best to get flat bottom or teardrop?  Fixed or telescopic?

I use the rubber net with a handle that slides in so it doesn't take up much room in the boat.

I always make sure the other person knows how to pull the handle back and snap it into position, just in case.

Was going to post BPS link but RW beat me to it. I would also would only recommend a rubber net. Whether or not you need the telescopic handle depends on what style boat you fish from.

OK. That is the one I was looking at.  Is the 30" handle all you need for a bass boat?

What about the KVD folding net it is a rubber net I think? I did see them at Bass Pro, just wanted any input on them.

I have a hibernet.  Best for storage by far (the net stores inside the tube) & it deploys pretty quick.
