Ups Store Fail. This Ever Happen To Any Of You?

Featured Replies

so....i dropped off a package that was being shipped USPS Priority to a forum member at a UPS store (they accept USPS). i had to go there anyways to drop something off so i figured i could drop that off too.

normally, when the post office receives something with a delivery confirmation , they scan it (we all know how that goes). i know its not the most accurate system, but it will at least show that it was accepted by them and delivered. this package doesnt show that it was accepted or delivered which it should of been by yesterday (FL to NC).

when i contacted the ups store , the lady who i spoke with told me that they did not have it there and they dont know what the USPS people do because all they do is give it to them. i asked her if she could check and i received a rude tone. no help there.

now, i did add insurance but im wondering if USPS will cover it because the DC says it was never accepted by them. ive shipped a LOT of items on on numerous forums but never had this happen...

has this ever happened to any of you?

Sometimes it takes up to two days for any info to show up, not always though. Maybe you just have to play the waiting game?

When I bought a BC combo from bass pro online it said that it would be 2 days for the reel (USPS) and 4 for the rod (FEDEX). Got the reel in 4 days and the rod in 3. I have had a good amount of shipping problems with USPS. And when my mom sent something from me to my friend in Florida it did not even ship.

I had a couple other things get delivered to other people that I've shipped this past week with no problems.

I'll have to wait till Monday anyways to see if it delivered or to contact both UPS and USPS. Ugh,today is one of those days...

I sold a bunch of baits to a guy on another forum, box of 19 cranks I think. It was shipped priority and didn't arrive for almost 2 weeks. When it finally did get there it had 1 bait remaining in it. Nobody with the postal service knew anything about what happened and that was before I insured everything I shipped to other forum members. I refunded his money and chalked it up as a lesson learned.

Never had a problem with USPS, UPS or Fed Ex, I prefer USPS.
