i am wondering what is good color to use and how you work the bait

what weight go good with those 2 sizes?

My best results have been in black color and the 7" with Chartreuse tail. I almost always use a 3/16oz sinker for the 7" and an 1/8oz for the 10". Cast to you're target and crawl it back slowly keeping bottom contact. 

I agree with above.

However, I use heavier weights more commonly, but only b/c I'm on the great lakes, fishing rougher water most likely.

I try to use a 1/4 if I can maintain bottom contact. 3/8 comes into play some days.

I have heard this color being really good a lot lately. I may have to go buy a pack and try them for myself.

I use the 7" in black and in motor oil. I work it along the weed edges by twitching it along the bottom.

i like the 7" in black and red shad.

weightless or 1/4oz bullet sinker.  worked/swim slowly

10" black/blue and tequila sunrise weightless or 1/4 to 3/8oz bullet sinker. worked the same

Don't be afraid to throw the 10 inch version.  Even 10 inch bass will inhale the 10 inch worm.  Clear water = some version of watermelon or green pumpkin.  Stained water = blue fleck.  Muddy water = 10 incher in black or black w/ chart. tail

I've fished 7" Power Worms for years, mostly black and pumpkinseed. These two color choices were originally arbitrary, but I stayed with them because I was pleased and had no reason to change color. But I've also used blue fleck and a greenish color whose name I can't think of and they've done just as well.

As far as I'm concerned, choosing color is a crapshoot.

Because I generally fish shallow, weedy water, I rarely go above 1/16 oz.

You use a 'lighter' sinker with a larger worm?

I've been fishing 10" PW's for the last few years.

To keep it real simple in regards to color, here's my take.

Black, blue black, black grape = daytime, murky water

Black, black grape, = nighttime, any water.

green pumpkin, pumpkinseed, watermelon, = daytime, clear water.

This has worked for me in my experimenting.

I absolutely SLAY bass here in MO on the 10" black grape.  I caught more keeper bass on this worm than all my other worms combined last year.  I also like Camo for both sizes and have good luck pitching Camo in the middle of the day.  Good Luck!!

Personally, I've gotten good results with the 10 inch in Motor Oil, but I haven't tried many other colors since these have produced for me.

I have gone back to throwing bigger worms and I decided on the Berkley Power worm 10 inch.

I just ordered 400 of these so I'm really hoping that they are the real deal! If not look for them cheap in the sale thread!!

I've been using the 7 & 10" for many years and will now only buy the 10"ers in the future..i have not noticed a decrease in my catch ratio with the bigger worm,and the quality/size has definitely improved. I'm going to pick up a few packs of the 12" worms for t-rig dragging on summer nights!

Oh yeah! I saw those and would have went with the 12 incher but could not find them in 100 pack!! I prefer a big fat worm body with the curly tail and it seems these are thicker than alot of other worms out there. Not nearly as thick as I prefer but good enough for the price!
