A little late but maybe we can keep all the info in one thread, games, news, media, jokes...

for starters http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000066725/article/nfl-referees-union-agree-to-end-lockout

Referee Agreement settled and ready to get back today!

Edit: can't say I didn't try, doesn't work on every forum.

With the "Official NFL Refs" back - I still expect plenty of Drama.

The replacement guys made mistakes and the Regular crews did / will as well.

These "Officials" will be in the spot light (even more than usual) with every call be scrutinized and / or compared to the calls made by the replacement Refs.

With all the camera views and the extensive coverage for these games, and with a fan base that is fairly knowledgeable regarding the NFL rules and regulations, the Refs calls should Rarely be a surprise to anyone.

For me, a good indication that the Refs called a good game, is when the calls that needed to be made are called, and the plays that are not infractions were not.

So after the game, there is NO Mention of The Ref's at all.

Yes the regular refs will make mistake, they are human it is expected. The biggest difference is they will actually know the rules and how to keep the game going. No waiting for them to figure out where to spot the ball, interpret rules, or marking off penalties from the wrong spot.

I'd agree with that - I also hope their performance during the first few games does not display too much rust.

OK, for those who objected to the games being played with substitute refs, what would you have done were you in charge? Would you have cancelled the games? Would you have given in to the demands of the refs? You may choose any other course of action. The first two were just possibilities.

Please explain the consequences of the course of action you would have chosen.

Regardless of referees, the Cowboys will prevail this year.

Though I'm in Virginia, I'm a life-long Bills fan.

My heart is still broken from 4 Super Bowl losses in a row.

Hoping current talent and coaches can make something happen - soon.

How about those NFC East upsets

The cowboys are still showing us they haven't been relevant since 97, and the giants are still behind the eagles!

As for next week, wonder if the Aints (back to their roots?) are going to break their streak, also Peyton's going up against his rival Brady, gotta be interesting

I can't believe Peyton is still playing. I've had neck surgeries to fix blown discs, you're never the same one good hit and toast.
