H20 XPRESS baits...Any good?

Featured Replies

Ive seen these baits all over Ebay. Ive seen thier Frogs and Crankbaits Anyone used them, are they any good?

Right now H20 baits are used as money on this website

You can trade them for most things in the flea market and some guys on here take requests and buy them for other people.

Don't buy on Ebay there over priced ether go to academy or have a guy on here buy them for you then ship them to you.

They are great baits for a great price

Check the lips on the cranks before you buy them.  I got some in December and the lip flew off on one of them on the very first cast.

That being said, I have a tackle box full of these.  Great price, great looks and very easy to get (Academy is right down the road).

Are H2O XPRESS baits made just for Acadamy sport? My son bought some frogs on eBay and says they are great. I looked up Acadamy Sport on the web and couldn't find any H2O frogs. Am I looking in the wrong place? :'(

They are only available at Academy but I have been sending them all over the country to guys on this site.  I charge $1 per bait and flat rate $6 for shipping.  The cranks run about $3.49-$3.79 and the swimbaits are $7.99-$8.99.  I think the frogs are also in the $3.50 range.  Email me at rjcorobert if you want me to pick you up some on my next trip.  I also have a thread on the flea market forum showing the specifics as well as a good color chart.

As far as I have been able to tell, they are just an Academy Sports line.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe Academy takes online orders. So your best bet would be to get someone on here to send you some. I would say that I would do it, but I don't want to take away from others that have already done this for many different people.

Cranks are awesome...Swimbaits look sick!

Great baits.  From what I understand they are made by Lucky craft.  Looking at the finishes/quality I would not be surprised.  Academy does not sell online-they probably should.  fortunately I live about one mile from an Academy store  ;D :)

Yeah , I've got one 2 miles west and one 5 miles east of me and another one about 10 miles north , surrounded by those Acadamies. Acadamy has quite a few things that are made exclusivly for them other than the H2O's such as the All Star Classic's which I think are about as good as the team All Star.

I believe that they have the Castaway CTX rods made exclusively for them as well.  I have two and love them, only about 50 bux a piece and well worth the price in my opinion.  They are cheaper than BPS and Gander on just about anything.  When I see their H20 hard swimbaits, I hold them for a few minutes before putting them back.  So tempted to buy one, but I havent heard any reviews on them yet.

Fear not the swimbaits!

The only issue is that they come in one sink rate only

Other than that they are great baits

H20 baits are not made by Lucky Craft.  Not in the same factory either.

Academy will launch its online e-commerce buisness in June 8-)

They may not be made by Lucky Craft but they did a good job copying them

The H2O lures are not made by Lucky Craft (but that doesn't mean that they aren't good lures).

Look out...there's gonna be a new bait monkey in town.... ;D

Academy definitely got it's fair share of dough from me last year. I don't see it being any different this year.
