I finally found a pack of Flappin' Hogs and I plan to use them this weekend. I just wanted to know what is the best way to rig these? I've heard they are a great flippin bait, but is there any other good way to use these?

I just put them on a hook and fish them t-rigged, weightless usually, but sometimes with a 1/16oz weight...If you are going to buy Flappin' Hogs, I would invest in some Mend-it. It will save you in the long run...

T-rigged with a light weight, on a jig head.

I only fish them as jig trailers or shakey heads. You're going to regret only buying one pack because you'll go through it fast.

I dropshotted the Hog on a rocky bottom, I had about 12" from the hook to the weight, to keep the bait above the rocks. This was last Oct, or Nov..anyways, got a few taps, and 1 taker..the fish went about 2 3/4lbs..as it was a tough day on the water..

flappin' hogs are awesome. i rig mine texas style with a light bullet weight or as a jig trailer. avalonjohn is right...get a bottle of mend-it. bass tear these things up pretty bad but mend-it will fix them up great.

Or...buy a few extra packs..

It's a killer for drop shotting. Rocky bottom, grassy bottom. I fish them from a foot from the sinker to four feet from the sinker.

Swimming the drop shot has also worked very well for me.

Make a great trailer for jigs.

I also use them on the Jackall or Inichi wacky jig heads. Hook 'em through the center of the nose, and deep enough so the head of the hog is snug to the ball sinker at the eye of the hook.

Cast it to the bank in shallow water or in deep water. Use the jig heads with the "weedless" wire guard, and you can drag them through grassy bottom as well.

There have been times the bass just nibble at the end of it. When they do, I switch to the 3 3/4 " Yamamoto craw in the same color. It's a much smaller bait, but works well when the fish are toying with the hog.

Experiment with them. Their applications are many.

It's an awesome jig trailer & C-rig bait.
