St. Croix Avid 68Mxf Casting

Featured Replies

I found a great deal on an Avid 68mxf. Does anyone have this rod and if so what techniques do you find yourself using it for? I'm in need of a weightless plastic rod (Senko/Flukes) and a light (1/8-1/4oz) jig/plastics rod.

Thanks for any feedback.

Both the AVC 68MXF and AVS 68MXF are great "all-around" rods,

but they are perfect for light jigs and weightless soft plastics.

x2 They are very sensitive and durable rods.

I have that rod in the spinning model. I use it almost exclusively for plastics. I'm sure it would be excellent for small jigs as well.

Should be a great rod for both the techniques you've listed. Enjoy! It's a great rod.
