Not Just Fishing Attractants

As many of you know, MegaStrike makes one of, if not the, best fishing attractants on the market. Owner Bobby Uhrig, goes above and beyond to make sure the demands of us anglers are fulfilled. His products are some of the most innovative out there:

Mainly known for his fish attractant, MegaStrike, which is made of amino acids, proteins and a few other secret ingredients, this product contains items that every fish "needs" to stay alive. It is essential to fishing any bait you throw. Don't believe me, try it for yourself.

He also makes some of the best shakey heads on the market. They ALWAYS stand up. There was one day last year on Pickwick, where the ONLY shakey head combo to get bit was the ShakeE2 and the MegaStrike finesse worm.

His Cavitron buzzbaits are the only ones I will use. They can be retrieved slower than any other buzzbait on the market. I actually gave away every other buzzbait I own.

The StrikeBack spinnerbaits are jointed, to help keep that fish of a lifetime all the way to the boat. No matter what direction a fish attacks the StrikeBack, the hook or tail section will move freely as it is being inhaled. I do not fish spinnerbaits that much, but when I do, this is the one I grab!

Not to mention, all of the variety of soft plastics that he has, ALL infused with MegaStrike fish attractant. He has everything: swimbaits, stick worms, grubs, craws, finesse worms, creature baits, tubes and more.

MegaStrike is great! I use the attractant all the time. Very nice guys to do business with, too.

Thank you for the kind words and for you that are questioning-This was not a paid testimonial. Heck he did better than the pro staff guys we do pay... Thats it no one gets paid any longer. LOL

I'll add one more item that is especially well suited for flipping: MegaStrike MegaBug

Megastrike, MegaBug, Strikeback. Don't leave home without them.

I wish I could get it in a liquid form also to soak baits in.

Attention swimbaiters! Megastrike has practically become a necessary piece of tackle in my swimbait arsenal. For soft plastic baits like Hudds and Trash Fish, a good sliming of Megastrike adds a ton of durability to the bait. Big bass have abrasive teeth, and the coating of Megastrike prtects the baits from tearing. I also thing it helps them hold it longer, due to the amino acids.

With hard swimbaits, a coating of Megastrike helps the bait slide around in the bass's mouth, ensuring better exposure to the hooks and a better hookup ratio. This is also a case where the additives in Megastrike really flip the odds in favor of the angler since an uncoated bait is often immediately rejected by the fish, once it feels the hard bait in it's mouth. Often times, the bait and hooks are so big, you get hooked up on the spit up, but it's not always a positive hookup. With Megastrike, there's more "positive" info that it's a real bait fish, and it overrides that hard bait signal, and gives you time to set the hook in the fish's mouth..

So, I bought a couple of tubes of Megastrike for use next year, and some of the soft plastics, and some of the specialized shaky heads. A couple of questions: First, for the soft plastics that already have the scent added to them and feel pretty slimy (in a good way) right out of the bag, do you add more? After a couple of casts? Second, I fish pleny of other plastics that come non-scented. Should I add a squeeze of Megastrike to the bag and let them marinate? Or should I just apply immediately before fishing each individual bait; or both?

Thanks.

You dont need to "marinate" them. Believe me its easy as it gets just to put a dab on your finger and rub it down the baits. It usually stays on pretty well unless the water temp is in the upper 80's / It has a melting point of 104 degrees. If your using it in cooler or colder months like now -you can put it on a jig and it will be on all day. As for the swimbait deal that Mr Francho was talking about-That swimbait nation following uses MegaStrike all of the time.I have had many of them email and ccall me saying even when they suspend the swimbaits -The bass will sniff it and just inhale them when normally they look and turn away.Again if you dont like it and even the color of the cap turns you off-we will refund your money NO QUESTIONS ASKED- I really wish you guys can come to some of the shows that we do. I have taken pebbles and put Mega on it -dropped it in the tank and the bass ate them -- We sell out at almost every show we go to.

Bobby, you ever make it out west to say Auburn, NY Bass Pro Shops?

Something else that isn't so good for Bobby, but great for his customers: One tube lasts for a long time!

I use MegaStrike all of the time and still haven't used an entire tube this year.

One tube lasts for a long time!

Not in my boat. My partners keep stealing my tubes!

I can't tell you how many times I wanted a smaller tube, but we give people their moneys worth.

I think that's true across the MegaStrike product lines. Great value for the money!

I just sent Megastrike an email. I sure hope they are at the Classic in February!

i dont throw a bait out that doesnt have megastrike on it. I even put it on my little ice fishing plastics when i ice fish.
